Today I made a tutorial on how to make a automatic afk fish farm with treasure loot in minecraft. Fishing treasure got changed in minecraft since 1.16 and you could no longer get treasure from the OG small 1 block of water fish farm, in which in this tutorial, I make one that does! The fish farm turned out amazing and got me a lot of treasure loot such as enchanted books, fishing rods, and bows, as well as saddles, name tags, and more in our 1.18 Minecraft Skyblock lets play!

when I made the farm I had to take the block on top of the noteblock of otherwise it wouldn't work. just something to keep in mind when making this
Thanks! It's working but there's one problem, the loot gets to my inventory not to the boxes, its a replica of your farm with the hoppers and the boxes and everything, is there a fix to this?

Pretty much yes, lure 3 is almost a must, luck of the sea 3 is needed to get good items often

Make sure your on Java and forewarning, many people have said that it’s not working, but I’m sure a lot of them just have small mistakes in there builds, but it worked just fine for me! Good luck with the build!
A little note: when it rains it boosts your fishing speed so you should be fishing when its raining!

Im so sorry man.. I should of mentioned it before I built it, but honestly I had no idea if it worked or not because I don’t have bedrock to test it on.. How did you get it so that while holding right you aren't fishing? Testing the build rn and that seems to be messing up the process. When I do it it sends out the hook and pulls it back before the trap door does anything
im having the same issue? i cant make it so the rod isnt fishing it always sends out the hook into wherever im looking and doesnt catch anything

I remember that there is a loot rate/fishing rule change in 1.16(?
So it needs nothing around the hook and the water should be larger (around 5x5x3) if the condition not fit you get only trash
Now i saw other tutorial of fishing fram seems back to before the change of loot rate/fishing rule... Am i mess up with bedrock version or mandela effect lmao

I just built this underground and I have been having issues I followed the tutorial to the t minus accidentally building the glass over the hopper not the chest but after I moved it to the proper spot still issues does this work on Xbox or am I missing something
I believe you need open light above you for this to work, also if your on bedrock I don't know if you need this farm, are you able to test out the simple afk farm such as czcams.com/video/Xzn3Ybn-FQQ/video.html that farm doesnt work on java to get (treasure) but im not sure about bedrock / any other edition, so feel free to give it a shot, it would help me know as well

With my editing it would take too long. I already put in 15+ hours usually on a video and I want to be more consistent on the uploads vs spending 30+ hours per video

Do you know what the best tick speed for this is?
Something very important to note: you need to be standing on the edge of the hopper, where you are close enough to the note block to interact with it, to cast your fishing rod properly.
I was standing too far back and didn't initially realise why it wasn't working.
did it work for treasure?
@@bilalzawia262 I have stood AFK for about 30 minutes using this design with a non-enchanted fishing rod. I did not catch anything. I believe you need a fully enchanted fishing rod to catch either fish or treasure.
He means observer on the sticky piston, not comparator.
After afking this farm for 24 hours I come back to my pc only to see that this farm has accumulated me 0 treasure and tons of fish.

It’s basically a necessity to have lure 3 on the fishing rod for this farm to work with the changes made since 1.16

hi man… can u check if this farm still works? Because I did everything but the trapdoor closes before I can fish anything and I do not understand why. (I’m on java btw)
thats what has to happen in the new version, the trap door is on a timer its not activated as you get a fish anymore, it had to be changed as far as i know, so like i explained in the video its a timing thing, a fish has to grab your lure as the trap door flicks down, also make sure you have lure 3

I didn't got any blaze spawner in fortress I don't know why and when I built a piglin farm they blaze ghast and magma cube spawned their
Blaze should only be able to spawn near a fortress. I found that if you building a flat area around the fortress, will make the chances of spawning much easier

Do you know of one that will work on bedrock?
I’ve tried every fishing farm on CZcams and none work:( every time I put the fishing rod in it sinks instead of floating unlike yalls, I know I built them right and I’m casting it right but it still doesn’t work any tips?
I’m not sure, others are have that issue too, I’m not too sure why, you can see mine works fine but then others who make it don’t, Idk why it wouldn’t work if your on Java

One other way to afk right-click is to press the right-click button and unplug the mouse. That way, no one or nothing ( like cats ) can interrupt your afk auto-clicking.
Again, nice video. I wish you could explain what is the role of everything you placed on the fishfarm. Why so many comparators and all and what are the sticky pistons for?
Because it’s based on a timing thing the red stone that comes, essentially around the perfect amount of time so your odds are as good as they can be for when a fish comes and hits your rod and be able to catch it. And yea unplugging your mouse is a good way as well

its a note block not a juke box so you just replace the diamond with a redstone to craft it

What do you do about phantoms
You can build a structure around you, just make sure there is a bit of light over the water
I made this in a normal survival world and unfortunately the fishing rod won't throw when the iron trapdoor activates- it won't even throw your buoy when it's not activated, so the trapdoor is a bust. Is there any way to replace or fix this? I've done every step, the trapdoor is the only problem.
I would assume your on bedrock, if not lmk, but this is on Java haha, im not positive but I believe the basic farm still works on bedrock or any other version besides java
@@Mappelz I am on Bedrock, yes. Nintendo Switch. However the basic farm doesn't give you treasure and it bases itself around the same iron trapdoor. Still doesn't work, like before, and I am left with wasted materials soon to be left in a chest. Do you have any ideas or am I left with a dead end?

@@Mappelz Yes, I made sure. I also made sure to place it equivalent to the instructions in the basic farm as well, but the fishing rod will not throw. I think this is a singular problem with the trapdoor and Minecraft, not building skill and whatnot- I'm not sure what else to do so I'll have to scrap this mechanic and resort to village trading. Thank you for your help though! I'm sure this is a great farm for others. ❤️

this is a farm for java edition, although some are having issues, and others its working just fine for, works perfect for me, so idk why others on java are having issues

Oops didn't realize I posted this, What I mean is if I play in a server and trying to AFK fishing I can't, there will be a message saying "This area is suffering from overfishing, try fishing in a new area"

Lol it almost doesn’t work for me, it takes like 5 minutes of moving the cursor, switching the farm on and off, rethrowing the rod, etc, before it actually starts working for me, not sure if you have a fix for this but at least it does work, just takes a while, overall very worth it and amazing farm

@@Mappelz yeah, idk lol, sometimes it does work right away tho, but the rate in which I get exp and items can be quite slow sometimes, not sure why but again, at least it works lol
@@dekomori8127 it’s because of the new changes, you can’t auto hook fish anymore, it’s all about timing, your red stone has to activate your rod to pull up, as a fish is biting it. That’s why it takes longer than before

Well idk about servers.. all servers have a different tick speed which might not make it work, but you could try!

@@shaggy2493 that seems like the normal speed, The fish will usually come in waves like sometimes you’ll get many fish right after another and other times it’ll take quite a while keep that in mind. (Also make sure to get luck of the seas 3 too)

I believe when the trapdoor gets triggered, it continues the red stone signal, remember this is for Java edition, if your in bedrock it’s seeming to not work for people

Nope! A regular survival world will do as well! I’d your on java It should work perfectly! If your on bedrock then I believe you can use the regular basic one
The first side of redstones is working fine, but the second one is not working. The redstone on the second side is not even blink red. It looks like its not activated. And the trap door doesnt move?

i believe you dont need this advanced farm on bedrock, you can use the simple 1 water block one . try this tutorial first czcams.com/video/Xzn3Ybn-FQQ/video.html if this doesnt give you treasure loot then go ahead and try this farm out!

How to get enchanting table in sky block?
If your looking to enchant things The easiest way is to go through villagers, they will sell you many tools or armour and then you can get yourself enchanted books from the librarian villagers. I don’t know if you can get an enchant table in this skyblock
