If you want to show measurements (like during the raid farm water placement), use colored wool blocks of alternating colors.

@@sen.morbid Isn't flammable and the texture is more uniform and easily distinguishable. Seeing as how one of these farms has lava in it, concrete is a better option

Ya but it wouldnt change the difficulty for you to recreate in survival, so whether he does it in survival or creative doesnt matter as long as he thoroughly shows how to make the build

@@FarrellFilmsReal maybe obtaining materials but these farms are all easy and early game materials so it isnt hard to get them
If you guys are having issues with tthe raid farm (for example the pillagers don't want to drop down), just build it high up or on an ocean, so that no pillagers spawn in nearby caves and get stuck there ;) I already had this problem...
how high does it have to be for it to work smoothly and all spawns on the platform everytime?
Now I'm not sure but you might have better work on a mushroomisland as you don't get mob spawns but I'm not sure I'd raids work there but I'm sure they should then you just have to make sure you have nowhere they can spawn so just put it like 30 blocks in the air then have your kill chamber

@@shumway3900 you have to go to a pillager outpost an then kill a pillager with a flag on his head. If you have the Bad omen effect, you can Start a raid if you just go to the farm. You can get more loot If you kill more than one pillager with a flag.

They are complex if they are a stacking raid farm. But this is the most basic version and has 50x less drops

I don’t know how you haven’t got more subs your channel is so good!!! I only started playing Minecraft about 2 months ago and your farms have helped so much!
Here's an idea to make a safety to the raid farm idea, if you put a trapdoor on the block above the chest, then they cant see you, plus you'll still have a gap to hit them from. Just a sweet tip of safety-proofing that got overlooked. ;)
If anyone is wondering the raid farm does NOT work on bedrock.

I use your other raid farm design and it works great! You dont need a workstation at all and you can use a nitwit as bait. I mean what else would you use them for? haha

Great video really liked these for simple farms that get good results!
In 1.18 the spawnrate will be equalized in any height. So on Bedrock and on max building height the same amount of mobs shall spawn. So mobfarms will be more efficient.
Higher up lowers the amount of spawnable blocks so it should be more efficient still.

I have a similar farm, but where you put the one bed they can't get to, I put all 3 beds there, so they never use the bed. The baby always immediately runs to the beds and falls into the holding area. Since none of the villagers have ever been able to actually reach a bed, none of the beds are actually taken/claimed and they breed indefinately. When I want to turn the breeding "off", I just break the beds and put them in a chest. I've never needed to add more than 3 beds. I'm not Java, not sure if it works the same on Bedrock.

Thanks so much for the auto crop farm I used potatoes and a automatic smelter to get infinite baked potatoes
The crop farm does not work any more with wheat. It sort of works with potatoes, but it stops working after the inventory fills with poisonous potatoes. you have to get a new farmer and restart it. It Kind of works with Carrots and Beetroots, but you need to add a ring of 8 trap doors around the base of a block that is placed directly on top of the composter or else the farmer will continuously make bonemeal and never attempt to trade with the other villager.
The Village Breeder does how ever still work in 1.19 and is one of my fave village breeders as it blends in with farmland nicely.
How do you trigger a raid for a homage village though?
How do you get the villagers out of the hole for the breeder? Minecarts?

I actually have 2 of these farms though they are a bit different to yours as I play bedrock.
I guess I should try make them more complex and efficient.
I could also try build a crop farm but every one I try either breaks or doesn't work due to Java and Bedrock having different villier mechanics.

Also I am not coordinated enough to play hardcore I would lose my world so fucking fast

Edit: i managed to fix it by giving them a roof and adding 3 more beds (I had one trap bed outside only) and they’re breeding! Thanks for the farm this is gonna be great for an iron farm!
Does anybody know if this works in 1.18.2 because the villagers are farming but I’ve never seen them give each other food or breed. I think the issue is that it’s next to a village and some of the villagers there are claiming the trap bed but idk if it’ll work even after I fix that
You built them roof? My villagers aren't breeding too idk what to do

When my trapdoor is closed, my villagers trade carrots and I get nothing. When it's open, I get the carrots until the second villager goes into the farm. What have I done wrong?

Dude it's your fault cuz when you're done taking raid on yourself you have to drink to get out of bad omen effect otherwise If you go to your village then they will attack you on that village

for the raid farm you can replace the bed with a job block or bell and it will still work

note: for the raid farm you need need to find a pillager outpost then kill the captain to obtain a bad omen that will start the raid. but good luck finding a pillager outpost "near" your base cuz u dont wanna run 4000 blocks to raid

for the raid farm, how does it make sure the raiders dont spawn far from the water and they dont end up in the pitfall?
or do they always pathfind to the villager or smthn
they go into the water to kill the villager but get stuck in water and they can't come out and fall in the hole cuz of the flow of the water

When your falling use the water bucket above you.. also he might've been wearing diamond or netherite with the elytra
For some reason I can't get my raid farm to work. I built it 128 blocks above the water and I can start the raid. I go up to spot where the mobs fall down to and the raid begins and you can hear them blowing their horns and I get the progress bar for the raid. Then no mobs will spawn and fall down and then the raid bar will go away. I'm on Java btw. Any idea why it's not working?

Also note that in 1.16+ the second villager also needs to have a profession, otherwise they wouldn't trade because only villagers with a profession can trade. For me the crop farm doesn't seem to be working though, like they trade but like once every 2 in game days which is like 20 minutes and then it's only just like 20 crops at a time

@@emma-mn5jd Yeah I think actually it's probably more that. And my mistake now that I realize is that I threw crops at the non-farmer villagers and so that actually slowed down the process significantly since I think they only share food if the other villager has an empty inventory

The villager farm doesn’t work with wheat, and the farm can also be used as a crop farm if you put trapdoors over the composter in a 3x3 area so he can’t put crops in said composter, and put a minecart with hopper system below the farmland.

@@tina_kovacova I haven’t played much in a while, but I know it works with potatoes and carrots as I have used them. It should work with anything that you can breed them with when you give it to them, like beats, tho I’ve only personally used the 2 foods mentioned so Idk for sure.
I think the problem when you use wheat they "crafted" bread (you need 3 wheat to get 1 bread) so it's slower in previous versions works well I remember this because I want to make a wheat farm with bees but I only get bread (the farm more decorative than functional). The best crop for this farm are carrots. Why not potatoes? For the reason they have a chance that you obtained a poisonous potato (it's a small chance tho).
@@tina_kovacova If you give bread to the farmer he will start using the weath to make more bread sorta of teaching them

they are fairly cheap, only 5 iron, and a chest, and it isn't really redstone

I like ur farm ideas but for some reason I cannot get the last one to work on bedrock edition. Is it different between the versions. Even with a trapdoor above the rail the player can still move the cart and I also cannot get them to throw food at one another.
