Personally I knew it when they released her interrogation. I grew up with abuse too, in the 70's. Dr's and teachers have alot of oversight over people's kids. Without her helping her mom fake it, it wouldn't have worked.

She was isolated ,controlled ,and infintized by her mother and after that directly in the prison system . Which runs kinda along the same lines .This girl is still learning about the real world. Real relationships ,how things run in general. She was just spit out into reality for the first time alone.This is an adjustment period. Being married seems a lot different from a 13 yr old girl than a grown woman. She is at that 13 yr old girl level of Disney princess syndrome - it's unattached to the heavy realities of marriage and society. The only way you really learn about it is to observe it and go through it. She's adjusting to a big life change I think we should just leave her alone
