But what can you expect? She literally spent her entire childhood under the control of her mother. Found out about the abuse and spent all of her early adulthood in prison for murder. & it seems like Gypsy has narcissistic tendencies/traits. Which is caused from childhood trauma. & it’s known that narcs tend to blame others/ everyone else for things they actually do. I’m not saying Ryan is innocent of any blame. Idk This is what it looks like to me. Since all of her interviews from start to now.

First of, I hope she’s still in therapy consistently. She’s going to make mistakes and be messy. That’s just the reality of living for the first time. But I hope she’s at least getting the support she needs to help her through this. Cuz the real world is hard for everyone. Given the way her mom treated her I could imagine how much harder that’d make it.

I think the public is weirdly expecting for Gypsy to come out of prison and have a grand ol' happy ending to all that she endured throughout her childhood, which includes being forced to lie about her age, pretend to not be able to walk, and getting unnecessary medical surgeries by qualified medical professionals when she didnt even need them in the first place. I don't think that she even went to public school or had friends like normal kids do, so she wasnt socialized, she never went to kid parties, or any of that, I Think all she knew was her mother. Her biological father was not in the picture. So, with all that said, none of what she is doing at this point is a surprise at all. Her behavior comes off very immature to me, her growth as a person was severely stunted and serving a 10 year prison sentence most likely continued that to a certain extent but prison probably provided for her much more than her mother ever did. thats sadly the case sometimes with people who end up going to prison.
Another thing that I Feel people are failing to realize too, is that, while being abused, she also got really bizarre and lavish attention with all the scheming and lying by her mother of her medical issues which I Do believe included getting a new house, having lavish dinners, vacations to disney world, etc etc which probably made things even more complex and confusing for her. Alot of poeple are criticizing her for being so closely tied to the media but like....this was how she was raised and that attention is continuing now even after her mothers passing AND after her having served her 10 years. This is how she got and still gets attention, I mean there is so much to undo and unpack here. Personally, I think that it would be for the best if everyone stopped reporting on her, but she doesnt want that and neither do the masses so I'm wasting my time writing that sentence. I'm just not surprised or scandalized by any of what she is doing. All of it makes 100% sense to me.

As someone who grew up with serious medical issues and felt more at home in hospitals than my actual home...it can cause serious trauma. To find out that you didn't even have any issues and it was for your mother to get attention?! I can't even imagine! She knew nothing but abuse. Medical and from her only parent.

Agreed. At first I’m sure we all felt sad for her but ever since she’s been released it’s like she’s a new person and thriving on the money & fame she’s gained. All of this has gotten into her head & messed with her.
That's not how it works. She went to prison, it was time for her to get out, they should have been supporting her more through the release and her family should have been on top of ensuring she's in therapy.

Half of us act this way and have never been to prison. Trying to figure out life is scary and hard. She got out and realized prison gypsy is not out in the open vulnerable gypsy. She got to see the real her and the real Ryan. She should be able to go back to her ex fiancé why the hell not. She’s able to full explore that relationship not behind bars.
