Hi, I work for Sloan, and he is simply extremely humble regarding his importance. In some fashion, that’s commendable. However, it’s times like these I wish he saw himself the way we do. Please don’t take what he said as though he doesn’t care about advocacy. It’s he himself that doesn’t see the cape he actually wears. Also, it goes without saying that Sloan didn’t mean those who had committed crimes. He means the sort that were simply in drama. Remember that he covers a wide spectrum of topics.
Yeah that really really bothered me...if it's "not a big deal," then why are you covering it? If you're so disconnected from your job, why are you even doing it? If it's just a job to you, don't say you're trying to "fill the space in social media" for someone to do all that digging into pillars of the industry and expose all the awful abuses that are happening.
I don’t think you understood what he was trying to say and it’s clear…. he was saying that his viewers and his video is not going to affect their popularity at the end of the day. He still wants to and will advocate for victims, which is why he makes videos And exposes people. Again, he stated that to say to the people who are trying to silence him & his videos, should realize that it does not affect them in the way that I they say it does or in the way they allow it to..

I'm actually surprised to hear Sloan feel like his job isn't that big of a deal. He does incredible work by exposing the darkness in Hollyweird and letting us know what celebrities are not good souls. I think his work is extremely important and I love that he stays impartial while reporting what he knows. i think he was downplaying himself bc of how confrontational & defensive the interviewer was towards him. Sloan is very humble & authentic & the interviewer was obviously harboring envy/animosity towards him.

I think this interviewer made him nervous honestly and he mispoke. He started this channel with a mission to advocate for others and expose evil people there’s no doubt about that, it’s ok that he might not be passionate about every topic he has to talk about remember he takes request too. He’s human and just being real idk why everyone’s being weird about that.
If they didn’t want to get exposed then they shouldn’t do terrible shit. It’s actually quite simple. People like Jason are always going to want to throw a wrench into something they see becoming successful (there’s a difference between constructive criticism and just criticism). These people deserve to be exposed for the shady practices and the fact that they can’t pay you off or threaten you is what makes you so valuable to celebrity news.
if it weren’t for sloan, i would’ve never known about nickelodeon until the doc came out. like i knew about all this stuff for years and talked ab it all because of sloan. and even if some celebrities are “untouchable”, talking about them makes ppl think more. i’ve seen a shift in the way we perceive hollywoods gems ever since sloan got people talking about the truth.

I think Sloan is in denial of how harmful his videos can be for someone’s career . He also not only repeated the truth but he frames it the way he wants to . He has to understand that and in the long run exposing people is not long lasting so he should pivet sooner or later .

I personally like your videos because they speak the truth (facts that were already released - things that are true!) about celebrities and the entertainment industry that when we were very young thought it was fun and easy and amazing to be famous. Exposure on things like Dan Schneider, Kardashians, child star abuse are important to know so we are aware but don’t support the bad guys!
