Haha. That so reminded me- when my kid was little, we had baby monitors throughout our house so we could hear him when we’d lay him down for a nap. I told my husband “that’s be so sweet if we heard him blowing kisses through the monitor” (because we always blew kisses to our little boy). Nah. We got demon growls through the monitor. It would randomly scare the fck out of us lol. Quiet house and then all of a sudden “GRRRRRRRRR” 😂😂😂

The eyes and some of Dad's expressions... I'm guessing the amazing hair/curls come from Mom. Love the parents❣️ They're so sweet. These stories are great. I wish I had grandparents who are still alive and wish I could've asked my mom more questions while she was alive.

My great uncle ALSO passed from AIDs in the early 90s in the south. My grandparents were southern Baptist missionaries' from West Virginia. Hearing your family's experience with a similar tragedy was somehow a little healing and thank you for sharing.

What a delightful family. In the ‘80’s and 90’s it was the norm and expected that moms would work and kids went to daycare and often wound up being latchkey kids. Your parents decision for your mom to stay home was quite a sacrifice and absolutely the best decision (in my opinion) for children. It’s so nice to see a loving and close knit family, you are blessed to have them and they are blessed to have you. ❤️❤️❤️

Getting to sit down with both of your parents at an age where you can understand to talk about life is such a blessing. I lost my dad to Covid in 2021 and I wish I could do this.
