You have found a brilliant way to enhance performance without ride quality compromises. The people who commented below are funny. You have to pay for quality engineering on a well built car. I've been looking at BMW Performance options for my 2016 550i and I think I just found my source. As an Engineer I definitely like "conservative", which in layman's Engineering parlance means you are not quite at the bleeding edge but the system has been designed to operate near that threshold but not into that threshold.
Hmm... so piggybacks are just transfer functions placed inline to the ecu? This guy must have a solid EE or CS background. Good stuff. I haven't played with BMW to that level, but I'm not against it. It's sad that an excellent video like this doesn't have more views.

I have a 2011 335i Msport E93 with the N55 motor. I have 2 questions: with a software remapping, how much power should I expect from the stock 306hp? And with the remap, will I have a problem getting it smogged? I don't want flash, then unflash my car! That's why I'm coming to the best in Dinan! Could you help me with an answer? And how much would this cost me. I seen a video in which your Customers said they were so impressed with the power gain!

Okay, that was a nice story. Shame the number of "sensors" being used in Steve's product is really not much different than what other vendors are selling, but hey, the connectors are real pretty and factory looking. I'll stick to the German engineered and manufacturer products.

For my 2019 330i, i'm going with Dinan. I had bad experience with DME Tuning, and a lot of others are reporting problems with Bootmod and JB4.
