I wish I stayed that clean. Great help for my w211. This weekend is suspension weekend, tie rods and all
We are glad that this video was useful to you!
This video is making this look super easy.... it isn't difficult no but they forgot to mention that the inner plastic wheel liner has to come out along with the plastic engine undertray to access the inner bolts!! Nifty camera angles disguises this need. That adds to the time required. Took me just over an hour to change a pair of these arms on my 230k mile w211 as an experienced DIYr. AutoDoc prices rock I do use them alot
You are absolutely right, we will definitely take this into account in the following videos.

Hi. I'm going to be replacing the upper and lower control arms on my W211. What was the purpose of you putting the jack on the ball joint?
Thank you for your feedback!
The control tightening of the suspension fasteners should be done when the car is on its wheels, however, for easier access, we left the car hanging on the lifts, lifting the rack with a jack to the ride height.
Stay tuned with us!
Best regards,
Autodoc team!
Can you make one for an upper control arm for a 2001 E430? is there a special tool to get under the computer boxes? man it's too tight going through the grommet, but i gather that's where one is supposed to go..
Thank you for your comment.
Unfortunately, we can’t answer for sure whether we will have such a video.

I have Just had the right front one of these fitted at a garage £240 later! Since then I hear a knocking noise only when turning right could this John wayne garage be the culprit?
Thank you for your feedback! We can't answer your question unambiguously, there can be plenty reasons. We recommend that you contact Car Specialized Service for full diagnostics or revealing the reason for side tone. Best regards, Autodoc.
Thanks so much for the video. What size is the E-Torx bolt that goes through the bushing to the frame?
Thank you for the feedback! The size of this bolt is M14x1.5x120 mm. It may differ depending on the spesial versions of the vehicle. Best Regard, Autodoc
Thank you for that information. I'm sorry but I didn't make myself clear enough. That external torx socket number do you us eon the head?
Yeah what size e-torx socket is that?
What is torque used on the control arm bolt? Should this be replaced if a stretch bolt?
What about the other control arm?
In this case, the car does not need to replace the second lever.

Is this the same part/ process as with 4matic?
Thank you for your comment!
Unfortunately, the replacement process for your car can be significantly different.
You can find detailed information in the technical documentation for your car repair.

If it is original rusty control arm the ball joint won't break lose from the spindle so easy, believe me. The ball joint separator breaks instead.
tighten tool up then wack it with a hammer.
Mechanic: It's going to be a 3 hour job with parts you're looking at 1200 dollars
Me: 😐😑🤔*Looks at this video
All i need is the ball joint separator tool hold my beer I got this
Thank you for your feedback! We are glad to know this tutorials was useful to you. Stay tuned for more! Best regards, Autodoc!
Or with a nice hammer, cheaper and functional 👌🏻
What part is being replaced? Is this the control arm?
Matt Perez ??? Control arm? Sry I ask but how did you came to watch the video in the place?
Titel reveals the part mate. :)
Thank you for your feedback! This video shows the replacement sequence of lower right arm for the front axle. Best regards, Autodoc.
Ok but alot harder with just a trolley jack and a socket set haha

This guy doesn't care about torque specs at all !!!
