Davis explained that he was Garnett's rookie, and despite other NBA players speaking about giving their rookies a hard time, Glen explained that KG was very generous. Glen added that KG would take him shopping, gave him a place to stay, and gave him cash. From there, Glen spoke about his other teammates Rajon Rondo and Ray Allen settling their beef with a boxing match. I loved his energy and watching him play and never in my life that I think he would be a Celtic. I remember hearing about it I was at my uncles in Maine sitting at the computer and I jumped out of the chair and by doing so the chair smashed into my uncle’s lamp and it shattered he came in freaking out going crazy thought someone died I told him the Celtics signed a NBA player I really like and he called me Effin idiot 🤣

@@micah.1009 I just can't see it. As talented as those Boston teams were it's hard to imagine that they only got 1 championship. KG and Pierce were always strong personality type players but always disciplined along with Ray Allen. All three of them were leaders who never had reputations of being hard to coach. So they didn't need Doc to manage the locker room. Like Davis said in this interview they pretty much did it themselves. Guys like Perkins, Davis and the rest of the roster just benefited from the attention the Big 3 drew. Doc has played with tons of talented players(Tmac, KG, Pierce, Ray Allen, CP3, Blake Griffin, Deandre Jordan, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and James Harden) during his career and has only gotten to 2 NBA Finals.

As for Miami I'll give you that only cause Miami was just a younger super team than them. But at the very least they left 1 or 2 rings on the table.
