  • Dr. Phil Cheetham highlights our new Speed Potential report showcasing the potential of a golfers swing based on data. This report also shows where speed is leaking and the most efficient way to pass energy across the kinematic sequence of your swing.
Dana shows us this with a practical application with this data and how he uses it while coaching the world's best golfers. Discover the power of pelvis sway, pelvis drop, and pelvis lift.

OMG, my golf prayers have already been answered - I've been planning to buy your 3D AI (or get a coach) and this is just what I hoped your company would do "someday" and here you are already giving this to everyone for FREE!!! For instance, noting on videos my shoulders (chest) are square long before impact (0 degrees) and are still until after impact (still/stagnant) now it's obviously contributing to my losing lag! At 17:40 from time points 1.0 to 1.4 (well past impact) the rotational speed is fairly constant and having access to Sportsbox 3D AI Golf to regularly monitor my shoulder/chest turn will be very helpful. And as you know, your leading coach/partner Erika Larkin's lessons heavily focus on smooth, linear acceleration through the swing. Looking no further at the data, you've already sold me!

On reflection, at 17:40 I made the assumption that the Chest Turn graphic was an actual direct output from the Sportsbox app. Or after the fact, did someone generate this chart manually using lots of data point extracted from the program? (that would be a labor intensive exercise)

This is the future of golf analysis and instruction right here! I'm looking forward to becoming Sportsbox AI Certified and using it in my golf coaching & lessons! There is no debate with data. Would you please have a mode for SINGLE PLANE SWING (set up at impact) - Maybe use Bryson Dechambeau's data or Moe Norman or Graves Golf or Kirk Junge?????? Also, is the data an average for all wedges, irons, woods, and drivers? does the app have specific data of motion per club? Also, metrics that are more tailored for pivot locations like Dana mentioned Bryson is centered vs lead pelvis or trail pelvis.

I’ve been watching Dana in a variety of environments for several months now. He is exactly like my son in terms of how he communicates. It can easily be interpreted as rambling with big words if you don’t have the type of brain that can properly interpret the jargon. However, I 100% disagree with your characterization that he’s saying nothing. He is incredibly gifted with an ability to interpret the data and then arrive at an appropriate solution for a particular individual. There is no cookie cutter swing. We all have limitations and tendencies that necessitate a particular swing.
Some love the weeds (Dana). Some like the forest. I love the weeds but I (like you) need to see the forest. We all think and interpret differently. But don’t be so critical of Dana. His words are magic if you can endure the tedium and criticality evaluate.

@@rpmfoto nonsense. if you understand what matters, you don’t concern yourself with what you are referring to as interesting or fascinating “data”
he can’t even hit a ball hisself. do you need more proof than that? for god’s sake. be rational
