Really like Dana as a coach. Very calm and explains everything so simple and then he let's you know he didn't come up with it he is just passing it on in the best way he can. absolutely great coach.

I think Dana is the best swing instructor on social media and after revisiting this video a few times over the last two years would love to see him more on your channel.
I think what separates him is this:
-He is clearly knowledgeable about not only the most relevant and up to date information
-He has “failed” as an instructor, although I doubt he would admit it, with his association with Stack & Tilt, a fad system that is largely discredited by the research involving ground reaction forces, which is demonstrated in his humility and unwillingness to debate when Brendon asks leading questions. He simultaneously holds a strong opinion while also admitting that great players can do it differently.
-Finally he understands how athletes actually move, demonstrated by his work with good ones. This is a clear preference over someone like Chuck Quinton of Rotary Swing, who has little to show for his system based on “how the brain learns.”
I had a lesson with Dana and have hit the ball farther and straighter than I thought possible, pain free.

Brendon, you are consistently putting out some of the best content on YT. Keep it up man! Hanging for the Bobby Lopez vids.

That practice swing at 10:00 minutes hitting a tee was awesome and you kept both feet on the ground at impact and you even noted that you felt more speed.

Two really good videos with Dana. The way he described turning the shoulders really made sense to me. Maybe you or Dana could put up a vid on here or Instagram of the drills he was talking about doing in the gym to practice the feels you should have in the downswing/pivot.

4:00 “To hit up on the ball don’t let your (target-side) shoulder go too far toward the target”
Left shoulder can move to rear (rotating, adding length) but not towards target.
For a slow swing like mine, anyway. More of the old “coil”, and use the ground (right foot) more.

Great video explaining left shoulder movement in downswing. It would be great to see a video on gym techniques for the proper sequencing that Dana spoke to.

05:20 That was excellent insight into GFR ...I was pushing up with my left leg ...I will try the timed push with the right foot ...PS: ...loved your osmosis quip haha ...thx B

Great video. In a future show can you ask Dana how to rotate without throwing the club over the top. I have tried similar ideas and always end up swinging left of the target and struggle with hitting the ball on the toe of the club.

Nice work. Would be good if you could get Dana, to give you some moves to work on in the gym. I have watch his instagram stuff, but would be nice to get feedback on what it feels like. Your swing has looked more matched up in the last two videos. Keep up the good work.

BE BETTER GOLF could you do a video explaining in more detail the differences between concepts of Bobby Lopez, Monty, Gankas, and Dahlquist? I seem to incorporate all the wrong parts from each.

I might so this. I put George and Dana in one group (for lack of a better term we'll call this the "new move group). Then I put Bobby and Tony Luczak in anouther group I'll call the upper body group. Monte Would be a little closer to the upper body group. But THESE GROUPS don't totally contradict eachother just have different focuses.

Brendon your best swing was when you swung at the tee with no ball. I couldn't believe the difference in that swing versus the two balls you hit before that swing. Then the next best swing was your last swing which was a combination of the first two swings and the tee swing. Not as good as the tee swing but better than the first two swings. The tee swing looked closer to a tour player. Do you agree on your tee swing being the best swing? The swing that Dana is teaching is something that I see George Gankis and Milo Lines as well as Grant Waite teaching.
