Die Japaner haben ein Sprichwort, âæĄăăăăçŁăăæăăâ, dem ich nur zustimmen kann.
"There's always a Japanese person who is better than you" Sounds true
âDo you think you are good at something, wrong? There is always going to be a Japanese person who is going to âââDO ITâââ much better than you.â
Like Nike, they âJust Do Itâ, better.
football
really loved the voiceover kind of video. I think you tackled it perfectly only saying the essential in the store, but left the completely necessary jokes for the voiceover
It sounds like a real documentary! I mean itâs real, but much better than what you expect from YT
same
Doobs. i really miss ur simple old style vlogs like these, simple yet so quality, just giving Dooby + food. personally i prefer this style of classic , humorous videos than the other 48h or 100h food adventure ones. we want more Dooby being dooby content like this
Could not have said it better. I quit watching for a long time because of this.
Her new videos are missing all her old funny caption-commentary. đą
Couldn't agree more
She really needs to understand what works for her. Glad that she knows what she is terrible at now.
Nah I started watching her cuz of her food vids, if u donât like it then stop watching lol
As a Japanese who have been watching your videos for over two years now, Iâm so happy too see you enjoy all the food in convenience stores here!âš
FYI, what you called agedashi tofu (dofu) is actually called atsuage, and what you called inari is called abura age. Both agedashi tofu and abura age are the same in that they are deep-fried tofu, the difference is abura age is thinner and fried longer.
Agedashi tofu is the name of the dish as you explained; fried tofu with dashi broth or soy sauce. And inari or inari sushi is abura age simmered in kinda sweet broth and stuffed with vinegar rice.
By the way your Japanese is actually really good and sounds so cute! Looking forward to your vlog next week!!
So good Tina, loved it. This style of long form food documentary you have been doing recently has been truly beautiful. Loved every bit of your Vietnam and Philippines trip.
As someone who is always excited to go to the supermarket when I'm travelling to see what's different, Japan's convenience stores look like an absolute dream. I could spend weeks in there wow
really loving these recent vlogs!! love the way you immerse yourself in the culture and one of the best ways is through food!! so happy youâre enjoying this trip youâre on with kevin and your parents! đâ€
18:33 ćłć(miso) I believe you got miso ramen and not curry ramenđ
That's exactly what I wanted to say
I love your channel and whatever content you share. Whether thatâs your Vlogs, different recipes, or trying out another countries cuisine đ©”
I look forward to your videos and this series is so fun and cool. Keep up the good work! Itâs paying off â€
Love you as always. Iâm so happy to see you enjoy eating!
And your Japanese sounds perfect!!!
Reading some comments that say they prefer the vlogs and I just want to say that I support your process, your evolution, and your health and happiness above all else, Tina!!! Itâs interesting thinking that some of your greatest work may have been created during times when you felt at your lowest. Itâs kind of beautiful đ„Č and beautiful that people (like me) related to you; you helped us feel a little more OK.
As you continue to carve your own path, I just wanna say keep doing you. You resonate with so many people because you do things your way, believing in your unique style and vision. I hope you follow your joy, wherever it may take you! Even if thatâs away from CZcams. I just send you best wishes! †As my mom says, life is an unfolding đč
Wow such a lovely đčy comment!

Tina I'm glad you enjoyed our konbini food. Your Japanese sounds so cute!
Dooby, i am loving this. My absolute fave!! And that added humour is everything!! Keep em coming â€
I LOVED THIS VIDEO SO MUCH DOOBY!!! So so well made!!
Love this video and all your recent videos. The production quality is great. Your vlogs are fun, but youâve always been a food content creator to me. Iâve been following since you lived with your parents and the focal point has always been food. Thatâs why I watch and IMO thatâs where you shine the most!
i love your eating vlogs! you articulate your words so well and your voice is always pleasant to my ears
I had that 7-11 Miso soup almost every morning. Highly underrated.
Love your twist to these convenient food vlogs.
You Dooby themâ€â€
Dooby, I just want to say Iâve been really digging your content lately. Loving the short form and long form! We all evolve and never stay the same (as we should, for the better). Donât mind the complaints. Many of us are here for you and not just your format. Much love from Honduras! đđ
I was just in Japan a week ago. I already want to come back and watching this video (plus the fact that the Philippines is literally boiling from heat right now) intensified that feeling so much more. I have so many things I haven't tried despite eating off of konbinis for breakfast and midnight snacks for more than a week of being there.
Have watched several 24 hr Japanese convenience shop food videos and this one is the best by far. Thank you.
The kiss traumatized me
Clicked on the video thinking that it was an old vlog but happy to discover that you JUST posted this! Long time fan here and I'm loving your randomness and innermost thoughts while learning about the best Combini finds!
Funniest moments for me with no context:
6:20-6:23
8:20-8:25
11:28-11:33
12:27-12:37
13:36-13:39
15:!5-15:24
19:28
I love your videos and I love listening to you talk about the food youâre trying
miss those upsite down cooking videos but dooby is getting so good i feel like im growing with this doobyworldđâ€ïž
Simple content but the excellent editing made so much more. Very creative. đ
Do a food dive at these cities, Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, San Francisco, Las Vegas, L.A, Spain and Italy.
Sooo happy to see more of you with your food!!! Love love loveee! Hope to create some food videos someday đ
Noo I love the food videos! The OG convenience store vids are how I first started following you
Poor Kevin. From alleged "Michelin level chef from Denmark" with a restaurant to just being that rando white tourist in Asia filming his local girlfriend as she eats. I hope he didn't actually spend over a decade training his hands to cook since all his hands do these days is hold up the camera. Could get better quality just using tripods.
Iâm sure he doesnât mind and if he does, heâs a grown adult that can speak up for himself and doesnât need weird parasocial comments like yours to do so for him.
@@Briannal884 So me making a basic observation is "weird and parasocial" but you getting inside Kevin's head to determine that he doesn't mind -- plus his needs, what he doesn't need -- is totally normal, not-parasocial-at-all behavior? If the dude insists he spent over a decade refining his skills in the kitchen I'm sure he can find better use for them than holding a camera and finding the record button. Even the English teacher variants of Kevin exert more of their brain as they meander aimlessly around Asia with some random girlfriend.
@@zainarif5767 Iâm not âgetting into anyoneâs mindâ and the sheer fact that you took it that way is proof that you need to go outside more. You donât know these people, neither do I but Iâm pretty sure a grown adult can speak up for themselves if theyâre unhappy and donât need random strangers like you speculating on things you know nothing about. Your comment absolutely is parasocial and super weird, I suggest seeking counseling.
Personally, I really miss the old vlogs, I am not extremely interested in food, I am interested in Dooby
kiss on the forehead
so true
Food has always been featured on doobyâs channel⊠sheâs clearly passionate about it! Try to enjoy and support as you would for any friendâs hobby :)
They just closed down the restaurant. Give them time to recover and get back to their youtube vibe. Itâs this way now, doesnât mean itâs always that way.
same... but what is dooby without the food?
I need more of these Japan vids đđđ
i love your videos and i actually cant believe im thid earlyyy I've been watching you for 2 years now and i still love your videos!!!â€â€â€
I love these food videos you been making lately . Also your voice is dee vine
IM SO JEALOUS OF THISđą and the cinematography of this videoâ€ïž
Omg i love you girl. You crack me up all the time i watch you. I'm definitely a dooby fan forever!! You remind me so much of my girlsâ€â€
Enjoyed watching the video as always. I love how you put "desu" at the end of video đ
love this series of food vids â€
I love your vids! Keep going girl
I love midnight diner. Itâs such a wonderful series. I would love to try the curry bread, the most!
You had the sweetest popscare. I enjoy learning about Japanese convenience store and you are a pro!
I love the videos where you cook in your lovely cute kitchen and go about your daily routine.â€
LOVE UR FOOD VLOGS SO MUCH â€â€â€
I never had ramen but my mouth is extra watery đ€€ omg love these Japan videos.. and u eating convinient food.
I lived in Japan for 7 months around 6 years ago. I still miss Lawsons Carbonara pasta. Itâs literally better than some I ate at restaurants here in the Netherlands xD
The vlog that teaches me , making me smile and laugh and calming busy thought
I love it so much to watch your food videos while eating hahah â€
I used to eat Pretz all the time!!! The pizza ones were my fav!!â€ïžAnd the wasabi banana fosters were another one of my fav childhood snacks!!! Ahhh I also had the Meiji Macadamia chocolates as a fun treat sometimes too! I want to try the Doryaki the most (and the pretz cuz I miss those) Omgoodness Family Mart was my favorite store to go to!!!!!!đđ
Unhinged Dooby commentary is it for međđ„đ„
this is the only entertaining channel on youtube rn, peak content, keep at it
Looks like really tasty food đ„ș thank you for your work. In Germany salad dressing is 50/50 added or separately. So I wasnât shocked of it not being there đ I just thought oh she forgot the dressing
My wife would literally murder me if I forgot to pick up those chocolate macadamia nuts and thatâs when I go to H Mart. It is the chillest chocolate Iâve ever had.
The instant noodle dooby had for dinner was actually miso flavored(it said that three different kind of miso were used), so no wonder it did not have much curry flavor. Hope you would come to Japan again in near future, as yen is getting very cheap right now.
Summer in Japan is very humid and uncomfortable, but they have seasonal ice creams even in conbinis(each chains have their own versions too)
These type of videos make me happy.
Iâm so happy you made one of these videos â€
watching this while eating a big bowl of ramen after coming back from worship night at church is just^^
Take us to Japan đđđ» I would love to try Rice cakes, moochi, everything actually â€â€â€â€â€ you are the best thank you for sharing with usđđđđđ
Nice video! Can you do a video where you only eat from japanese vending machines?
I NEED TO GO JAPAN!! Ahh you always make food look so goooooopddđđđ
the thing that i noticed is that is so easy to look for the kcal on their food packaging which is really helpful for a person who is on a calorie deficit like me hehe
Doobyâ€, ur videos r amazing and love the quality đâ€,
It means a lot to me as a Japanese that you came to Japan and introduced our food to the world. Thank youđ€
your food videos are ansolutely the best online
I love the crispiness of the onigiri ! Amazing Japanese /convenience store ! Gimme some katsu sando ! Love the Nori Potato chips ! Love the drinks ! Tina love your vlogs !
i love your vidsssđđđđđ
Dooby!! I need a vlog. đ
It is not curry ramen but this is MISO ramen. Thatâs why you didnât taste curry. Nissin Curry ramen has a logo saying âCurryâ.
the way you smiled when you said "yaki onigiri"
Watching your videos is my therapy.
I recognized you in the LG ad. Outrageous ad when a gen o' cide is going on, just shows your true character. All eyes on Rafah.
Please explain đą
@@fauzianalwoga1002 search "optimism your feed" and see how black mirrorish it is
Yesssss another legendary video
Dooby mood is the mood I wanna reach in my life â€
I really appreciate your microwave dance and will definitely try kerage with curry ramen yum!
Lawson red chicken nuggets and the Curry bread are my favorite! But thereâs something about Japanese konbini where you can never go wrong with whatever you get.
Your in Tokyo! Wish I could bump into you. Enjoy and Stay warm,Thanks for another Awesome Video
*provides lid for ramen*
âJapan is living in 2050â
finally you went for japanese convenience store foodâ€â€i hope you enjoyed as much as you expectedđ«¶
Japan is definitely not living in the future, itâs actually mostly living in the past. I say that as someone who lives here đđ itâs so funny when people say that lol
I think some things are more convinent and thatâs something people confuse with futuristic.
The minute I see the start with her super manly walk I know Iâm gonna get comfy and watch the whole video!
8:19 That was the best Simpsons burp ever. Of all time.
brođđ my mom walked in on me when you did that meltykiss sceneđđ
Convenient đ
Yay something to watch while eating
Honestly so smart to have the sauce sold separately, so you can pick your favorite đ€©
Ok but why does this look like a merge of a cinematoc japanese documentry and a bbc video at the same time. I love it
Tina I am waiting for vlog
Hope it would come out soon
I love you for being you
Very soon!!!!!! Promsie
I enjoyed the video! Arigato gozaimasuu Doobydobap đđ„
