Toronto East Community Alert Emergency Response conducted a siren test, which they announced on their Facebook page. I went to observe the test, but things did not go as planned. My friend and I were driving on Highway 404 near Markham, and we missed our turn when we didn't hear the GPS tell us to turn right to the eastbound lane. Instead, we went left towards Mississauga, which set us back by 10 minutes. After getting off the westbound lane of Highway 401 and getting onto the eastbound lane towards Scarborough, we arrived at the siren at 4:54 PM. Unfortunately, I couldn't set up my second camera at the other siren and didn't have enough time to fully set up my tripod and use my external microphone and do an audio check with it. Moreover, the siren test started late, and the siren we were at had a small malfunction on the whoop signal. The whoop signal is supposed to last for two minutes, but this siren's whoop signal did not. The other siren's whoop signal continued as it should have. During the 5-minute silent period, I didn't realize that my camera didn't charge during the night so it was at 20 minutes battery at the beginning when it came to the 5-minute silent it had 2 minutes left I quickly switched to the 2nd battery and bought me 40 minutes. Overall it worked out ok.

The higher pitch whoop sounds like a an ESC-864 digital. Like my vortex!

I thought that other one was unusually higher pitch than this one!

      @@SirensandThunderbolts1003 it’s probably a 2800 running on a digital ESC-864.
