    Timing light comment funny because I mainly use it to setup ignition off-sets and delay on these systems.

    • @BroomysGarage

      I will do a video on this soon. If you go back a year ago on fullboost, we already stated that the clevo with the diff ratio needs an overdrive gear in the gearbox. There just are not any economical options for this when you compare it to other options (such as buying an entire BA falcon for instance and getting the Barra and BTR from it for only $500). I like the clevo, but it’s also a noiser, rattler, old school engine, and a more modern engine will make for a better long haul driving experience. Have to put it out to the viewers to give me some ideas, however silly suggestions like ‘put a gear vendors on it’ like some originally suggested is ludicrous @ around $3000+ it ain’t happening. I’ve looked for over drive trans for a clevo, and from what I can see the AOD which has a rubbish reputation, is expensive and hard to find, is almost the only option.

    thank you for the video, it is great. i have a question i am afraid to ask. how the heck does the multiplier work? I want to add say 12% to the fuel. i can not get it for the life of me

    • @BroomysGarage
      @BroomysGarage  Před měsícem

      Select the cells you want to multiply. Press M (for multiple). % is based on 1. 1.00 = 0%. 1.12 = +12%. 0.88 = -12%.

      There are more videos here relating to data and tuning with my rx7. Any video thumbnail you see with the laptop screen normally means I am going over the tune and data of what we did at the race track.

      @Broomy's Garage I need everything lol... I have a 12v vr6 swapped vw cabriolet runs and drives but getting things ready for a turbo. Going with a fueltech 450 received it today. Not many have done this if any. So we will see I'm sure I can figure out the wiring but tuning another story no clue.

    4:47 petrol (petroleum, crude oil), the term "gas" short for gasoline makes more sense. who puts crude oil in their fuel tanks that doesn't use a diesel? some may say the term "gas" could be confused with natural gas, who drives a road legal vehicle that uses natural gas? it's all about CONTEXT. rant over 😁

    • @BroomysGarage
      @BroomysGarage  Před 2 lety

      In Australia many many cars run on LPG, liquified petroleum GAS. It is essentially 50/50 mix of propane and butane, and it is what every Australian refers to as gas, as it enters the engine as a gas. Plenty of buses also have been converted to run on LNG here as well (natural gas). So who drives a car that runs on actual gas??? Australian’s 😎
