The powers to be indeed do their job quietly, ref's quality of life have improved since the arabs took over, overseas accounts and offshore ones are a good way to get them to continue to be the 12th, or even 15th men for City.

ETH is doing a good job at United. How many PL teams would be 6 points of the top in 6th position with 3 of the back 4 out for most of the season?!?!? Spurs and Newcastle both have big injury problems now both lost at the weekend but the pundits and media put those losses down to injuries and their managers are doing a great job. ETH isn't good enough he should be sacked for only beating Luton 1-0. Liverpool drew with Luton through a 90th minute equaliser!!! Imagine if that was United. By then the clamour to sack will have lost impetus because a sort of apathy among Utd fans. There is a strong possibility that he will lose against Liverpool 7-1 in aggregate. In a funny way i think ferguson is the worst thing that ever happened to united. Somebody recently pointed out, and its true, united werent very good before SAF came. they werent winning anything, they werent the biggest club in the world, they were just another club. And now that's what they are again. People keep acting like united is "broken" and it needs to be fixed... no. this is the level that united has always belonged at. Fergie was just on another level to everyone else and inflated the club for a long time. They are never going to be like that again. United fans should learn to be happy with competing for champions league places. The idea the United or any club for that matter could compete with the City Football Group without first constructing their own international footballing structure is a joke. City don't win everything just because they hired a good manager, but united seems to think thats all it takes.
