I just found your channel and the AWESOME mod your making. I have always HATED the vanilla welders and grinders in SE, so I've been using the Build and Repair mod for long time now in most cases to replace them. For a while now though I have wanted to replace the Build and Repair mod with something better, but nothing I have ever tried comes close to replacing them till seeing your mod now. I cant wait till you release this on the workshop. It is an immediate sub for me.
@MrBlackdragon1230 Thanx. Yeah ive spent some time on the models so far. Each took between 15-20 hours. The first few videos is mostly about testing functionality so most of the models have moderate detailing and isent essentially properly balanced yet. Hence the release date. And like there isent a laser grinder per say. I incorperated the OmniBeam X-1100 with dual mode so it can do both. The videos are also for testing the scripts currently i have two guys making one each. Mostly because their approaches differ. And im looking for the most performant of them. Im most likely gonna increase the welding range while keeping the grinding range lower. Like 70/30 diffrence approx. While also i will mention the scripts currently only supports welding and on projected blocks only. Since they are essentially fixed weapons mounted on a rotor+hinge setup. Thats where the script comes in script can currently only detect projected blocks. Eventually the Omni Model Line will branch off into turret version. Well for the OmniBeam atleast.
Just saw on Xocliw video. Looks magnificent. Trying to figure it out on survival. Made the steps carefully three times. Did not work. Don't work on survival? I saw the description says Creative and MP.
First did you add a rotor and hinge to each tool? Did you name things accordingly like in the script if you are using the script. You need to explain step by step of what you did. Like are you using the tools with or without the script linked in the mods description? But these kinda questions are better suited for either the scripts or mods comment section on the workshop 😉
