    Chicken broth isnt really the way to go, we make broth out of sausage. Also there are two types of white sausage, one is boiled (biala parzona) and is most common and raw one (biala surowa). Judging by how white your sausage was i recon it was likely parzona which means you can eat it as it is without any further cooking.
    Last but not least Kielbasa is Polish word for sausage, generally you have 100s of types but they all called kielbasa. So when you say kielbasa sausage you basicaly saying sausage sausage
