Canon cameras are my all-time favorite because the richness of their color and contrast often stands out of the pack in my opinion. Thank you for another great video.
Hello thanks for this video, but i have one question; I have a c200 and everything works great, but I have a problem like a little red color cast over the whole image even though I made the white balance correctly, especialy in high and mid parts. Do you have any instructions and solutions in camera color settings for this problem? All the best and tnx!
Hello @Artsparkle! I have encountered this before and this is how I solved it. Go to the menu and find custom picture/HDR, scroll to other settings and click (make sure activate other settings is on), scroll down to color matrix tuning and set the reds the way you like it. You’ll find the RGB channels there and to what color shift you want it. This should solve your red cast. Let me know how it goes! Thank you for watching!
Thank you for your question. I would suggest that you go with the c300 mark2 because of 10bit. Since it’s documentary, there are times that you do not have ideal lighting situations and 8bit footage will crack during your edit. Except if you want to shoot raw with the c200 which will need lots of storage space. The c300 mk2 will be excellent for your work.
I feel the holy spirit in my heart just by listening.

thanks for the great explanation!
The C100, C300 and C500, all MKI series shoot just as well.
A true ode to color depth. Outstanding 😊
Thanks a billion for watching!
