Thank you soooo much my friend, my key is broke today and your video have help me sooo much - thankzz. But is not the same lock by VFR 800X Crossrunner Rc79 - a little bit other. Theres no spring and no ball which i have to looking for.
Since posting the video, the panniers apparently come with the lock core. You'll need to pin it properly for your current key to work. Check out my other video for that process.
Is the cylinder the same for the GIVI trekker cases? ... the cases look very similar are they a good size for a long trip? 37 liters is not a large volume .. what do you think?
Guys do somebody knows number of whole assembly of the lock shown in this clip. I have original GVII box without HONDA on it and it is a little bit different. There is part 08M71-MJE-D01 however black cylinder want fit into GIVI housing as it is to big.
@@SkyhookStudios I just realized that I was trying to fix the one (of three) that the plastic cap (moving part) it was missing 😂😤😤 finally I assembly it mate thanks!! ✌️
Thank you for posting this explanation and your guide to rekeying a cylinder. Without your help it would have been a lot trickier.

I hate to burst your bubble... But you don't have Touratech luggage there. You've got Givi made for Honda luggage.
Thanks. I'll adjust it accordingly
And if you buy givi cases, can you change the lock to the honda key as well?
