  • In this video, an explanation for how to make biological fillers (AKA Bio-Filler) using White/Blue Top Tubes is presented. Noteworthy, by remixing the buffy coat zone, the denatured albumin gel is re-infiltrated with many platelets, leukocytes and growth factors to further assist in the generation process, all while maintaining longer stability when compared to standard PRF. The Albumin gel + liquid PRF (Alb-PRF) mixture (often referred to as extended-PRF or e-PRF) has been shown to last 4-6 months instead of 2-3 weeks found in standard PRF.

    Thank you so much for these instructions. I don’t have a bio-cooler, can you please tell me what temperature the bio-cooler is set to and is it possible to achieve the same cooling results with a sterile bowl of cold water monitored by a thermostat?

    Dr. Marion I was wondering why did you choose to centrifuge 700g for 8 min instead of 2000g for 8 min?

      Any news on the exact difference? The CZcams video's, articles published and the book PRF in facial aesthetics don't give me a clear answer. Also where does the 300RCF/5minutes protocol comes in and when 2.000RCF/8 minutes vs 2.000RCF/5 minutes? In the book PRF in facial aesthetics they also talk about 2.200RCF/8 minutes for albumin gel. So really getting confused.

    What should the ratio of albumin heated to liquid be, 2 to 1 for total of 3? Is it important to get the bubbles out before mixing? Thank you, its an excellent video.

    What happened to the Tubes which were first placed in the bio cool after drawing up the 2 cc of ppp. Because in the video , I noticed the PPP from the bio heat was mixed with the 2 tubes on the rack snd not in the bio cool

    • @prfedu
      @prfedu  Před 3 lety +1

      Those were pulled out of the Bio-Cool and those are the 2 tubes you see in the video which are then mixed with the heated albumin gel.

    How long does biofiller last in the body? Also does the cooler make the albumin same as body temperature?

    • @prfedu
      @prfedu  Před 2 lety +1

      Typically 4-6 months. Very similar half-life to Botox

    Is it ok to transfuse the remaining of the blood back to the patients after separating prf, IF the tubes were kept in the biocool device after the spin?

    can we use A prf as a biofiller instead

    • @prfedu
      @prfedu  Před 2 lety +2

      No, A-PRF will not act as a Bio-Filler. That is an older technology for the early 2010s but doesn't last long in the body (1-2 weeks).
