I know this was 2 years ago but wanted to let everyone know the drum center of Portsmouth has the same snares which were made for their 10 year anniversary of the store. They’re about $2300 US and only 10 will be produced. Sonor will also make a badge with your signature which is pretty cool. (Posted 6/8/2019).

What snare stand do you trust to support that much weight? You have been Blessed!!!
Bahaha! Thanks man! For stands, I've got a couple I use with this guy! One of the old Signature series stands from Sonor (that would've held the even heftier HLD-590) and Pearl's S-2000 stand is in my opinion the best snare stand on the market! Basket adjusts flat from 10-16" and has retractable spikes in the feet so it literally never moves, infinite angle tilter. Solid as a rock. I swear I've had my first one of those for twenty years and it's STILL my main gigging snare stand. I've got at least six in the studio because they're basically perfect.

I want a 14x6.5 with chrome hardware and a SQ2 badge. I used to know a gentlemen named Larry who helped me at Sonor originally with getting my SQ2 but we’ve lost touch because that was yeeeaars ago. Really wish there was a way to get in touch with a rep there.

This isn't something Sonor is making into a product, so it doesn't actually have a price. (It's priceless! ha!) but the drum it's modelled after is the HLD-590 which generally goes used for $3,000-$7,000 USD depending on the condition :)
thanks very much for the answer Aaron, actually i found one today on ebay for about 4.500 usa dollars ( about 3.600 euros ) plus shipping to italy that thing will cost to me like a house lol , by the way it is really my dream snare drum !! I hope one day i could afford .

Yeah! Like @rockdahaus and @Zodiacdrummer said I totally had one! I had Ronn Dunnett give it an acid treatment to make the finish all gnarly too! Eventually selling it to a friend of mine locally, who still uses it today! He plays in Untimely Demise, James Burton. Rad guy, killer player! \m/ I'm sure he's got some vids with it by now too!
