Andy Serkis Breaks Down a Fight Scene from 'Venom: Let There Be Carnage' | Vanity Fair - Krátké a kreslené filmy
I love that the title is 'fight scene' but it's not the climactic battle or any heroic fight it's literally Venom and Eddie breaking up
The divorce arc
I LOVE HOW THEY DID THE CLASSIC " GET OUT " " THIS IS MY HOUSE " my new favorite genre is symbiote romance soap opera
The voice crack really got a laugh out of me. I wish they leaned on this aspect more and lost the silly fight scenes and sickly visuals.
That moment broke me
I really want to see Venom and Eddie go on a double date with Anne and Dan in the next one and bring that energy with them.
Can't believe i just watched Andy Serkis explain how much of a power couple Eddie and Venom is.
Andy serkis doesn’t get enough credit as an actor, a motion capture artist and director. He’s really fantastic at all of these things and has such an understanding of his craft as all three many cgi characters such as the hulk, thanos, venom, Gollum and even King Kong wouldn’t be even remotely believable without this mans input and skill, direct or indirect
Don't forget Caesar, how can you forget Caesar? LOL.
@@GQMofo I unfortunately have only managed to see the first of the planet of the apes reboots which he was far less of the focus so it rather slipped my mind but I’m sure he’s fantastic in the other movies in the series
@@GQMofo that whole trilogy was ELITE
Venom 2 wasn't a good movie.
@@zh4835 why?
“Get out… GET OUUUT😭” he sounded so hurt. Like Eddie cheated on him and venom found out.
The thing is an Alien Symbiote, he shouldn't even have feelings as their monstrous creatures that have a human host
That cracked me up in the cinema, Venom behaving like a crazy ex
In reality he's Venom had Manchild Tendencies and Had a hissyfit, ironically that made it much better
@@silentgamer1997 - There are different kinds of symbiotic relationships. Parasitic, mutualistic, and commensalistic. There's nothing in there that says the symbiote shouldn't experience emotions. Why would being an alien change that? Superman, Gamora, Thanos, Martian Manhunter, and Invincible are all aliens who have feelings. The Venom symbiote is sentient, so it stands to reason he can feel and form attachments (literally, seeing as attachment is his whole thing).
@@silentgamer1997 canonically the symbiote feels what Eddie feels, both in comics and established in these movies (“ _we_ are hurting right now”). That’s partly why they come to blows like this, their anger fuels each other and creates a feedback loop. Alien doesn’t always = monster especially in marvel. Venom (particularly as the character stands now) is more Deadpool anti hero type than The Thing
This guy! Not only a genius, the passion he has for any project he's doing is fantastic! In another league

I didn’t get the impression he was saying they were flaws. He just improved upon the first
sadly the script was trash for the second one...
@@cpenner7086 I thought I was the only one who thought this... The stunts, acting and visual effects are amazing but the storyline is really messy. Each character had so much potential to be showcased but too little time to mush up in a 2 hour film
Funny that Andy Serkis mentions the “break up-like” scene. In the comics, Venom is actually in love with Eddie.
Well he did say he wanted the movie to be comic-accurate. Eddie and Venom are a romantic couple, both explicitly shown in multiple comics and explicitly said by the creators of the characters, comic artists, the writers, etc.

Really weird considering he can do a proper southern accent as shown in the revanant
Idk, his accents pretty good. He has more of a Washingtonian type accent.
No accent is going to be 100% perfect. Add on top of that the fact that this is a one-take scene in which he is improvising dialogue while brushing his teeth, drinking water, and listening to himself in his ear. I think I can forgive a few mispronounced syllables here or there.

Hardy's british accent is breaking through here, very noticeable.
When you speak loud or fast (like here because they have an argument) accents are very hard to maintain. Every huge variations in the speech pattern may disturb the concentration of the actor. And i reckon that in an another more serious film they probably would have taken another take.
In fact Hardy can do it, he did it in the Drop and Warrior perfectly.
