Seen so many Tom Hardy interviews and It's a well known fact that He doesn't like doing them. I think this is one of those interviews where he is very comfortable. And real kudos to Ali for that.

most of the time in the interviews Tom Hardy is not enjoying himself you can tell that this guy is a true interviewer because Tom Hardy is not only enjoying himself but he's just laughing and you see how much he enjoys his work from it

I get the impression that Tom Hardy wanted a mostly serious interview about the new Venom movie talking about how they went to great lengths to make it. However Ali has seen the movie and knows how silly it is, so cannot help but meme hard and indirectly troll with some of these questions because he finds the whole thing too funny
Ali did such a great job coz Tom Hardy can be so intense and he usually so obviously hates interviews.

Best intervieweur / interviewee combo. The guy is talented and always knows his stuff thus making Hardy relaxed. The Jekyll and Hyde aspect of Venom is what drive T.H. to the character and i find his performance funny but mostly very challenging in insight. I don't know any actor who would have been able to pull it off as well as he did.
