Dear mr. Crampton, I have just come across your channel and I love the feel you give through these videos, it is just so calming!
I am currently deciding to buy 2014 Audi A8 or 2014 Audi SQ5 and just cannot decide what to pick. I like the luxury feel of audi A8 but I also like the looks and performace of SQ5. Once or twice a year I also perform 2000mile trip and I am a bit worried that the SQ5 is not a good highway mile eater. What is your opinion?

Thanks for watching, both cars will perform your tasks with ease, i prefer day to day being sat a little higher up, but if it was just the 2000 mile trips then the A8 is fantastic, difficult choice 😂

As a audi owner with that key id like to point out that you push it without the foot on the brake so the fuel pump has time to prime before you put your foot on the brake and push to start the engine . Id do that with every car . Have a great day ;)

Hey these are kind of fast and probably the best engine for the q5 shame audi took the 4.0 tfsi out of the s6 and put this bitdi in it

why is stop start a dreadful invention, i asked audi about if it can cause problems they said its fine... barrie you always say its dire but can you explain why?

puts hundreds of times more wear and tear on all your engine bits, starting is the most stressful and load inducing than just ticking over, but its not that it cuts the engine at the most inconvenient time and is sure to get someone killed pulling out on a roundabout, or trying to turn right across oncoming traffic, trust me all the components that are needed to make it work, go wrong quicker than if it didnt have stop start and cost a hell of a lot more to fix than you save in fuel, its an idiotic idea
