fake Doge Taft was the 27th president, long before Zach was alive. Also, he's undermining the powerful moment of meeting the president by stating that it's happened before, (Though the joke lies in the reason I gave at the start of the comment) :)

It's like he has a crippling stage fright, but he's conflicted because he loves making people laugh in a public setting. Zach keep on truckin' you're hilarious
I noticed that too... maybe, I think, it might be because he’s out of his element in a sense of him not having a script or anything. Maybe not having control of direction with questions or being at the mercy of them.
Phillthy Lucid I disagree. I think he is very comfortable with off the cuff answers and remarks. I think he’s just playing a part. This uncomfortable energy he has makes his jokes funnier and makes him feel more approachable and less intimidating individual. People feel threatened by people wildly more successful than them or richer than them and by acting like this he humanizes himself and brings him back down to a level where he’s demystified, on their level. A sort of non-direct self depreciation
You can find an old video of him playing piano flawlessly and doing standup in front of a large crowd from many, many years ago where he actually looks young and thin. This was before he fully developed his hangover persona

Are you kidding? Stand-Up comedy is really what launched his career. (I wish they would show his routine from Conan way back on his first show when Zach was thin and in his early 20’s. I can’t find it anywhere on the internet; however, I haven’t taken a look in a long time.)
He's way funnier than a lot of the roles Hollywood gives him.
His ability to slightly struggle to remember story's makes the story 10 times more funny, just knowing he's gonna say something hilarious after every slight pause 😂
Not too many people can match Conan's comedic chops and timing, but Zach did it here.

I remember listening to his playing piano special. That show cracked me up so much. He is great.
First time I ever saw him was one of his early piano specials, and I have been in love ever since. I watched every movie he did, sensing there was so much more. I could watch vvideos of him just living a normal life and reacting.
