- Great golfers appear to have a rhythmical effortless golf swing don't they? They seem to make it look super super easy...
The reason being they have a pattern to their movement that allows them to organise their body in such a way to generate incredible speed and really great strikes without what appears to be a lot of effort.
In todays golf lesson Danny Maude shows you step by step how you can begin the process of creating a very similar pattern, so that you too can start to have that rhythmical effortless golf swing, whilst at the same time increasing your distance and improving your strike with all of your golf clubs
BUT just a little note here, this is no quick fix, you're going to have take some time to practice it in order to really get the feel.

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Loved the lesson - striking the match is a great analogy. Thought occurred to me that when I would hit irons fat, that I wasn’t “striking” but rather “breaking” the match. It’s about setting up a consistent, repeatable swing pattern, which you are showing in “- 1 - 2 - strike the match….”. I do something similar in front of the mirror about once a week. When you slow it down in front of the mirror, you give your muscles and mind time to imprint the needed muscle memory.

A big thank you. I've been watching a lot of your "lessons." Using your tips and practice routines (not hitting balls)
I worked on them for several weeks. (It's winter here, we have SNOW) I then went back to my indoor simulators
(I use the indoor practice in winter) and using your methods I have gained distance with ever Iron/wood. My club speed increased dramatically. I'm a fan....thanks again,

Great video. Your other video of just using a relaxed golf swing is similar and also very helpful, but for some reason this one is finally giving me the feel of the weight shift and getting the power from pulling down and pushing up with the left side to really get that effortless whoosh! I've been playing for decades and never could get that feel. Thanks!

Another great lesson that I can work on at home to get the sequencing correct before going to the range. Either next Friday or Sunday would be great. Hope you and the family have a happy and healthy holiday.
Just finished on the range and have to say, the best tip ever. Set up transferring weight back and forth. Backswing was natural lead by my rotation . Didn’t think about downswing, it just happened. The compression was amazing and the distance gained was unbelievable. An extra 15 yards with 7 iron (160 yards) and improvement with every club. Added benefit, every ball same height, trajectory and straight as a bullet. I’ll need to adjust my club distances now. 🤣🤣🤣🏌️Thanks Danny.

A big thank you, this lesson’s breakdown has highlighted an error I feel in my swing practice, when you first started to explain I thought I was watching ‘Strictly Come Golfing’, then the penny dropped. Hopefully I will get my thought pattern back on track again and start to see another improvement

I believe I have mentioned before how effortlessly you make the golf swing look. It is something I aspire to but rarely achieve. This lesson is a great inspiration for achieving the ultimate swing goal. I have been struggling for some time to complete my swing correctly and finish up cursing myself for such a result. Last week it all went well with a full follow through but this week it had gone again. What makes it so annoying is that my practice swings invariably feel fantastic and then the ball gets in the way. Strangely, 12 out of 14 tee shots were straight! Practice, practice and more practice is needed! Danny, many thanks for a great year's instruction and all the very best to you and your family this Christmas.

I used the new backswing I learned in the previous video last week and by the end of the round I was using my body to rotate (think piston) instead of my arms. I hit some of the best iron & hybrid shots I've hit all year. I don't know why I didn't find you sooner but, I'm glad I did.

Excellent again and great timing as my course in Italy is closed due to snow and then going to mother in laws for Xmas, no course there but now with this I can do some positive golf training for when I get back on the course. Add this to the rope training I’ll be turning pro next year…or not. Great stuff again, thanks

@@DanielMaude That’s exactly what I was thinking throughout the video. I’ve been taking the rope to the range for warmups and gotten some strange looks. BUT, my former tempo has returned, I’m not forcing the downswing, and I’m striking the ball solid which leads to more fairways and GIRs!
