Im so sorry for your lose :( my first budgies were both males i went to my aunts home when me and my parents came home i saw my budgie cutie dead her head was attached to a little string part of his body and so much blood my budgie mutie had a hole under his wing on his side he died next day i cried so much r.i.p both of our budgies and i had lot more budgies they died
After the death of cutie and mutie i felt broken depressed not like myself and when i got new budgies i wasnt happy to tame them heres how i tamed mine i just talked to them and was being friendly and i did that to all my budgies i gave my budgies a bath once in a bucket almost full with some grass and mutie enjoyed and mutie didnt want to leave he kept holding cutie when he left cutie i took them out they went in they're cage by them selves

Ok so I just got a buggie parakeet well.. saved it the poor thing was never touched, talked to, or tooken care of so I took it and now he get fresh food, and water and he's already talking in the mirror and climes on my hand 🥰🥰

Ok here are some ideas
1) Adopted a budgie and make a video series about taming it
2) Budgie preening
3) budgie beak and cere (also talk about long budgie beaks and if you should clip it and how to prevent it from getting too long )
4) How to get you budgie to talk! (Some tips from your experience on getting cookie to talk) also you can get the new budgie (from video idea number 1) to talk while applying the tips you said in the video ! That would be an amazing video !
5)Budgie perches ( talk about natural perches that you should get and what you shouldn’t get)
6) updated video on the Essential things you need for your budgie! (talk about cuttlebones, mineral blocks and other important things you need to give your budgie)
7) talk about how to avoid big mistakes with you budgie ( for example my budgie Oreo flew away 😢 and I did a bit of research and found out how important getting you budgie to Perch on your finger is in case it flies away or anything like that , and also mention some tips on getting it to Pearch on your finger)
8) Budgie sleep ( talk about how much sleep do they need and if it’s important to not disturb them while they sleep)
9) Just like how you talked about what can budgies eat , maybe you could talk about qwhat can budgies drink!
10) Why isn’t my budgie chirping ?

Hi, i got a female budgie 3 weeks ago for my male. When we got her, her cere was crusty brown, which means she was in breeding condition. However, after a week spent in a cage with the male, the cere became white. That means she is not in the breeding condition. The cage has a nest box attached and she is quite often going into it and spending time in it. She also flirts with the male and the male is feeding her. They like each other and feed themselves. I am wondering, when is her cere going to become crusty brown again, and when will she be in breeding condition again? Thanks in forwards.
Just leave the nest box there, chances are she will wanna breed soon. And the cere color doesnt allways mean a female is wanting to breed. My budgies when I had them, lemon who's cere was allways a tanish pink whenever she had chicks her cere never turned dark brown in her 4 years of life

Hi Alex thanks for the video. My budgie zeit had a little accident and flew into a name flame (we were visiting my sisters house and she opened her gas hob while I was in the loo). He burnt his tail, nothing else happened thank God. He is fine and acting normal but He is now trying to pull the burnt feather out himself. Shall I pull it for him? Or leave him to naturally pull it out? It’s clearly really bothering him as he is constantly trying to pull it. Any advice will help. Thank yours

So one of my budgies is missing it's wing feathers. We visited the vet and he found nothing. The other budgie is just fine. Both are happy and active though. Is it french moulting or what?

Can someone please take the time to read this. I have two budgies but I cant tell if they are male of female can someone help because at first I looked it up and was told a males cere should be blue or dark blue and the females should be a pink, brown or tan. Then I said "Oh so she's the female and he's the male, but then I wanted to double check so I looked it up again and it said the males cere is supposed to be purple . One is 4 months old and is smaller than the other one but I still cant rap my head around it .PLEASE reply I still haven't named them yet because I don't want to name the female a boy name and the male a girl name thank you have an amazing day.

If there are no other solutions, maybe you should spray the budgie with water yourself. Either hold then under water or use a spray bottle. (And when I say hold them under water, I don't mean the head. Please don't drown your pets.)

I have a budgie that cant fly due to its tail feathers (at least I think so). His feathers are not as neat as his brothers and seem more messy/spread out. I'm still not sure how to help him. He seems happy chewing away at this perch and swing, eating and drinking, bathing and cleaning himself. He does try to fly when his brother does, but fails. ;-; My mum cant be bothered going to a vet, and google is no help, so I was wandering if you could give me some advice to help him out. (I'm not sure of his age or anything. I had another bird for my birthday before I got him and his brother but he flew away, so I was given these two to replace him. I'm pretty sure I've had him for a but under a year now?)
His feathers should grow back in time. Small birds often lose their tail feathers as a defense mechanism (if they're grabbed), but many places also cut them short. Best of luck!

My bird can fly but he cant fly like other birds he cant go high if he flies then he will either go on the floor or on the surface and sometimes he gets hurt but he will look fine so is this a sign of any thing?

If the parents are tamed you can, but make sure the parents are also in the cage the nest is in. Idk if the parents are not tamed.
My female budgie had pin pointed hair growth on her face near her beak. What should I do ? Her babies might come out anytime, and I'm hella afraid if she spreads it to them as well.
Edit : Now I know they're going through moulting, which is shedding of hairs and replacing with new ones. That's normal !

i wanna some help. my budgie have all the ''male type'' ( sing a lot, can talk, super noisy etc) , but his cere are beige now. when i got him ( or her...) has a purple bluish cere and when he/she started molting ( still molting right now) the cere became lighter, almost white and then beige. ( before that, the bluish color was really intense) he/she still have the dark baby eyes. i'm really confused and afraid to be a genetic disease.
It's a he. It can be because he started molting at a low age. Idk if it's something else.

Check the girl for who she likes more. Then separate the ones who she doesn't like, and get another female for the other ones also!
