- This is my Weekly Budgie routine. Cleaning Cage, giving Budgies nutritious food, and giving budgies a bath. Most important is to give budgies healthy food, that means varied with a lot of vegetables and fruits.

I use hot water and vinegar mix it softens the dirt and removes it much easily that with cold/normal water

BUDGIES have their own way
You really adore Your budgies, so do I. I had a budgie that lived 14 years. Little Ricky traveld with me from New York to Belgrade, and traveld every where I went, because I did not want to live him anywhere. Now I have also a big 34 year cockadoo, so I can t travel anymore anywhere from the time that I have her. I took my Kika when she was just 3 years old, when her first owner, a general died.

I use a baby bottle brush to clean their water containers...but oh my 14 budgies. You have your work cut out for you. I have 4 budgies. You do a splendid job Kudos to you, Your budgies are lucky to have you😊

Does anyone have tips on getting budgies to eat fruits? Every time I bring fruits near the cage they get scared and fly away.
Leave them for some time there until they get use to it and then make them try it by putting it with their seeds...
Get a bird that eat fruit that how my budgies learned to eat fruit
Hang them up, attach them to side of the cage, attach to a perch - budgies are inquisitive and will try them if they are in interesting places

Alex, if you have a dollar type store in your country, you can make a cabana for your budgies. What you do is buy a plastic basket, flip it upside down, you can cut into the basket, make a hole in the center bottom to add a hook to hang the cabana, make two holes across the top of the basket on each side to place a perch or you can hang a swing under instead, then you make a front (and back) opening to look out while on the perch. It gives the budgie shade and also privacy and if the plastic basket has a fake woven look, the other budgies climb on top because they can grip on to it. They will love it. Great video by the way.
