The new season of viewer submitted Dead Cells full runs are here! I am playing on custom mode with only the requested weapons enabled. When necessary, we will activate colorless mode if the viewer requires it.
Dead Cells Update 21 has just been released, introducing lots of new shiny things to play with over the holidays along with some broader gameplay changes. There’s a TLDR and an overview below, and if you want to get the full detail head here for the patchnotes. Boom, everyone's attention span covered. TLDR: Colour scaling rework, Malaise rework, New mutations, New mob, weapon, outfits & diet, Backpack rework, Hand of the King lore room
Usual QoL fixes.
Dead Cells Update 20 brings a new biome to Dead Cells, an alternative to High Peak Castle. The Derelict Distillery is accessed through the Collector zone leading to High Peak Castle after either the Giant or Time Keeper.
Also introduces 2 new weapons, the Tesla Coil Turret and the Barrel Launcher weapon.
About the Dead Cells The Bad Seed:
Explore a relaxing Arboretum, wade through a noxious Swamp and take on a new boss in this new early game content designed to expand the Dead Cells universe and add variety to runs for people who want to support the development of the game.
So you’ll be able to play through:
The Arboretum: A relaxing and peaceful greenhouse inhabited by a peaceful clan of mushrooms, with an understandable desire to murder the Beheaded.
The Swamp: A noxious environment ruled by a band of tree dwelling mutans with pointy sticks, sneaky dart shooting frogmen and a bunch of deadly bloodsuckers.
The Heart of the Swamp: Domain of mama tick, if you’ve seen StarShip Troopers, you get the idea...
The two new levels and their monsters are alternatives to The Courtyard/Toxic Sewers and The Ramparts/Ossuary/Ancient Sewers, with the boss designed to be on par with The Concierge, so hopefully it’ll spice up your early game runs once you’ve played through the core game.

Just beat 3BC for the first time tonight. I had adrenaline flowing through me like I had a near death experience in that hand of the king fight
nice beat the game first time with this yesterday was fun haha, just died at king on bc1 :( now to look up some guides :)
Watching your vids made me reach 5BC but still having a hard time being acrobatic to get to the boss and keep dying because it's mobile

My bind puts primary attack on square (left face) and secondary on Right bumper/R1, so I have an easy way to parry quickly, and effectively dual bound

How is Forgotten Sepulcher always so freaking easy for you damnit!? I'm absolutely awful at that biome! I get there without using any health pots and then freak out and get killed by darkness EVERY SINGLE TIME! 😅 BLAAAAARGH!

The build definitely helps! If I didn't have so much area damage I would have to go somewhere else.
in my very humble (2BC only) experience Sepulcher is really easy if you are a fast build with quick weapons and grenades and a struggle if you're a slow, methodical build relying on turrets and safety

I think they should change the way curses work. They should make it so it has a set pool of challenges that could make your run harder for a bit. Kinda like how Issac has their own set of random curses
I've always been a fan of this idea. But I never decided what would be fun challenges. 🤔
@@Veedotme hmm I don’t know, I was thinking something like maybe shops cost double money for awhile, and you can pay health or something to get rid of it. I don’t know how good of an idea it is, but I feel like it would be interesting.

WHAT DOES THE MIRROR EVEN DO?! I've tried finding out and been playing for almost a year but I still don't know what it does 😅
I had no idea for ages too. Looked it up on the wiki: "Shows a random enemy or boss that carries a blueprint you don't have yet, Will not show any items that cannot be unlocked at that difficulty, but the mirror can show you inaccessible enemies." (on the Collector's page)

I'm sure someone has come up with this already but I have yet to see someone comment on this.
Swift Sword/Symmetrical Lance for biomes and Giantkiller for bosses. You can use whatever shield of support weapon, I prefer shields.
You drop the Giantkiller at the first teleporter and equip the Swift Sword/SymLance in its place. At the end of the biome you come back, put the Sword/Lance on the backpack and travel to the next biome, rinse and repeat, unless you're on a boss, and then you use the Giantkiller.

I mean, almost any weapon with 4x damage could potentially be busted. I feel that for this you should always have the base one to really know if the build is busted or not. Just my two cents, but still thanks for the upload. Keep up the good work.
