Dead Cells Update 21 has just been released, introducing lots of new shiny things to play with over the holidays along with some broader gameplay changes. There’s a TLDR and an overview below, and if you want to get the full detail head here for the patchnotes. Boom, everyone's attention span covered. TLDR: Colour scaling rework, Malaise rework, New mutations, New mob, weapon, outfits & diet, Backpack rework, Hand of the King lore room
Usual QoL fixes.
Dead Cells Update 20 brings a new biome to Dead Cells, an alternative to High Peak Castle. The Derelict Distillery is accessed through the Collector zone leading to High Peak Castle after either the Giant or Time Keeper.
Also introduces 2 new weapons, the Tesla Coil Turret and the Barrel Launcher weapon.
About the Dead Cells The Bad Seed:
Explore a relaxing Arboretum, wade through a noxious Swamp and take on a new boss in this new early game content designed to expand the Dead Cells universe and add variety to runs for people who want to support the development of the game.
So you’ll be able to play through:
The Arboretum: A relaxing and peaceful greenhouse inhabited by a peaceful clan of mushrooms, with an understandable desire to murder the Beheaded.
The Swamp: A noxious environment ruled by a band of tree dwelling mutans with pointy sticks, sneaky dart shooting frogmen and a bunch of deadly bloodsuckers.
The Heart of the Swamp: Domain of mama tick, if you’ve seen StarShip Troopers, you get the idea...
The two new levels and their monsters are alternatives to The Courtyard/Toxic Sewers and The Ramparts/Ossuary/Ancient Sewers, with the boss designed to be on par with The Concierge, so hopefully it’ll spice up your early game runs once you’ve played through the core game.

Hey btw found a cool build
Dual-bind throwing knives with snake fangs, melee tactics
Acrobatipack alchemic carbine
Knife dance(get the Bleeding Causes Poisoning affix, though this can be on the throwing knives too)
And the last skill can be whatever
The gimmick here is based in a small oversight with Bleeding Causes Poisoning. When it's in effect, it makes it so ANY tick of bleeding whilst the affix is doing its work will also inflict poison.
So ex. If knife dance has Bleeding Causes Poisoning, while the bleed effect from knife dance is in place, hitting the throwing knife will also inflict poisoned for the duration that throwing knuves inflict bleeding.
Combo this with instincto and you can get a really strong DoT build without needing hokuto's bow
The question still remains: did he learn how to respect the twin daggers?

when you rerolled the twin daggers before prison that hit spreads oil with increase oil damage, I got a little sad lol

Mutations: armadillopack, necromancy, soldier resistance (you can swap out against collector, for the other bosses, you shouldn't need to swap)

i would rate the build as a 6/10. Medicore but powerfull. it leaves you to open to attacks which other builds could easily deal with or protect you from but totally viable if its your thing! love the videos V. keep it up my man! @Veedotme aka from youtube land
