Hey Vee, I think the ability to sell health potions was added in a more recent update, I think the Practice Makes Perfect update, but I'm not 100% sure. So it's totally understandable for you to not know that they could be sold!
I love the fight that the Queen is so tall and her weapon being a rapier makes it impossible for her to hit you normally so she actually hits low with every stab to make sure she can hit you, such a great detail if you can even call it a detail
did you know that the queen will revive you if you die and if her health is 50% or above
Pretty sadistic of her for someone who, and I quote her, "Wont take any pleasure in this"

@Padre_des_los_penitentes I think she just thinks her husband was going easy on her with her line "You're not getting away that easily" then she says another line about take the fight seriously
If you use the kings outfit she has a special dialogue
I got very lucky on my first run against the Queen. I had a repeater crossbow that poisoned on hit and barbed tips. Destroyed the Queen in seconds and flawless. Also had 2 turrets one of them bonus damage on poison, the other bonus damage on rooted. I actually had a lot more trouble with the servants.
I’ll second this: Repeater Crossbow with Barbed Tips is incredibly powerful, and I’d recommend it for anyone struggling with reaching the new areas. I did a run on 4BC, and I almost killed the Queen on my first try with zero potion charges and only 25% health. The Servants truly are the real challenge of the run. (Four potion charges down in one fight is always a fun time.)
@@Phirestar one problem for me with the servants is actually getting the blueprints. Yeah, they are difficult to defeat, but it is a pain that you have to kill them in a specific order to unlock the weapons. At least a specific one last anyway. I'm trying to get the wrecking ball right now, but I keep defeating that servant first or second by accident.
Tbh, I have resorted to exploiting save slots for this. I don't like doing that, but I don't want to start a run over just to finish this fight a specific way.
It is a sort of an irritating way they require you to get those 3 weapons.

@@dascreeb5205 I agree, but I like to unlock all weapons, skills, and mutations. Besides, maybe it will be fixed in a future patch, and be more viable.
I used repeater crossbow against hotk but he keeps blocking my arrow, does anyoen have any tips? I am still stuck on 3bc btw
I absolutely LOVE this DLC. The Lighthouse is such a great challenge. My first time I got a legendary giant killer and great synergies so they were very easy to beat but getting to the top was insane and I was laughing the whole time cause of how frantic it is. Devs are just amazing people and I will follow them on everything they do.
I noticed now how the scarecrow has a picture of the queen in his fight
I remember last year seeing you on the steam page playing fatal falls dlc. At the time I was considering buying the game. Now I get to watch this after beating the queen on 5bc. Great content!
When I killed the queen too fast to see all her attacks becuz i was using (heavy crossbow-wolf trap-crusher)

The archers with the huge bows are in Anor Londo - DS1! I just faced them in my play through
Yes they are called mutineers. Armored shrims have 2 BP weapon . Yes 91 is the release date of the first sonic the item description is a verbose form of gotta go fast.

Hello Sir, great content and thanks for doing what you are doing. Quick question. Have you tried or thought of the following build: Boi Axe, Ice Shard on survival or tactics.
Been playing around with it for a bit and it seems solid. (Tactics: Point Blank, Ammo and the Acro pack. Survival: kill switch, frostbite and Ammo)
Would you kindly do a run of those if you think the build is interesting? It would be great to know what you think about power to compliment this build. (Wink wink: needs to work with spoiler boss)

Sonic the Hedgehog was released in 1991, and the "must move at a faster pace" I believe is a comical way to say "gotta go fast!" (sonics catchphrace when it isn't "gotta juice") while remaining legally distinct enough to prevent court trouble.
I believe it's a reward for beating the lighthouse within a timeframe.
The leg hugger definitely is a cute little pet
On my first run to Queen, only three pieces of the map dropped. And I looked for so long to find that one enemy or piece, that I actually found the spot with the key without the map. lol.
We can see a paint of the Queen on the scarecrow boss fight.
Since the queen is also a homunculus does that mean that she is one of if not the only boss you dont kill and if so where is her humunculus now
I would love to see us move on to fighting through hoards of ship enemies or something next but really at this point I would love a different path so that prisoners quarters isn’t the mandatory first level every run

Hey Vee, got any tips for someone who for having the game for 2 years hasn't beaten 1BC yet? I managed to pull a Survival win out my butt on my 3rd run thanks to Shields, Claymore, and Wolf Trap as well as grabbing every scroll I could get. But man 1BC is just a nightmare for me, and every time I get close the game just keeps getting tougher with nerfing weapons and buffing mobs. So like I said, any tips? Lol
In my opinion, as long as there is no malaise (which is only on 5BC now, I think) the main tip is: Take your time.
You can play this game really safe, especially with a survival build. If you take the tonic and ice armor and always wait until they are back up before entering difficult areas it is almost impossible to die or to have to use your flask too much..
It also helps a lot to play custom games, so you have more control of the items and if you want to go really safe, fix the random seed. Then you can control of the number of cursed chests and portals in the game and won't be running into bad surprises...
It then only leaves the boss fights to think about and these can be pretty much tanked in 1BC.

Kinda broken once you figure her out...
The boy's axe complete cripples her, she cannot (and if you have ammo mutation WILL not) be able to attack.
Repeater's crossbow can break her animations which is kinda funny
Killing her while she begins floating up for the phase changing attack will crash the game...
Hopefully all except the last one will be fixed soon
Have you tried her with Spartan Sandals yet, because that's a fun way to take her out lmao. 😂

Hey bud, I’m a recent fan of this page. I just wanted to ask, how come I’m not getting any new blueprints? I’ve seen loads of cool looking stuff that I still haven’t gotten blueprints for and I’ve had countless runs. I’ve only just recently gotten to 4BC. All I seem to be getting are new outfits to unlock. I think the last one I got was the ice armor in the caverns. But I went about 15 runs before I got that, and only that. I know there is plenty more to unlock but it’s just not happening for me.
Everyone is going on about using root, I had multi-nock and had a pretty close fight, tho not as close as this one

How does he deal só much damage? I picked up this game blind last night & got to the lighthouse on my 6th run. I had the strongest combination of gear so far, constantly dealing ~8k dps. The lighthouse boss was impossible. They just soaked all the damage, and the platforming was hard without the wallrun. When the 3rd boss came out i had burned through my flask. What makes it so this guy seems to do 10x more damage than me whilst playing on a higher difficulty??
I dont think you are meant to go to the lighthouse until you get all the relics and level up your forge. It's a really hard level for seasoned players. Just work getting the relics, building up your forge and unlocking items and boss cells first. Once you get 3 BC you shouldn't have a problem with the lighthouse. Good luck!
It's like after releasing the Little Skul content the developers were like, the adventurer fights were a good idea, let's put that in Dead Cells.

Both colors are good
With tactics you can run crows foot and ripper
And with brutality you can run the normal stuff like melee combo or even predator or scheme if you run phaser

I'm very surprised that you had so many problems with the boss.. I'm much worse than you are and played it on 3 BC. Beat her without much of a hassle. But maybe that was also because I found a lot of cursed chests during my run.

Queen is way too easy. Easy attacks to avoid and fragile as glass.
Which is fine with me cause to get to her you have to go through the lighthouse which is way too difficult
@@jester3272 even the lighthouse isnt that hard. The servants all move slow during the boss fight and have pretty low health. Not to mention that if you're fast enough it just gives you clean food.
