Excellent review Can you please help me with the exact Length of the Fuselage alone without assembly
nice plane, i got small version love it😀👍👍
This plane is a BEAST. It can take a beating, especially that fuselage. The front end of that fuselage is super durable. This plane has taken some major nose dive crashes. This was not my first plane, but it was my first tractor plane and my first plane with landing gear. Unless you have someone helping you learn out to fly, this is probably not the best plane to learn how to fly because it's big, heavy, has the prop / motor on the front, and requires a lot more aileron travel to fly than planes like the Ranger, Phoenix, Drift, AR WIng. I broke the props the first day I had it. Then I broke about 10 more before I learned how to fly. I eventually bout some cheap slow fly props on Amazon (like 8 for $10) to learn on. With that, said, I love flying this plane, there's something satisfying about having landing gear to take off and land with. I put a KOPILOT and GPS on it a long with an FPV system and Crossflire. With a 4s 3300 carrying a GO PRo, I can easily get 12 minutes of lazy flying. I wish Volantex would make a smaller version of this plane this plane with plastic fuselage (about the size of the ZOHD DRift), then this would be an awesome first plane.
hey fella how you got the crossfire and kopilot setup? cheers
also i have a question on kopilot and this plane. when setting up kopilot to capture the craft as level. how is this achieved with landing gear fitted etc? sorry for dumb question maybe....
@@kool-k-kel To get it flying level, I did level calibration by standing behind the plane and putting the elevator on the tongue of my shoes (so about three inches.). You could probably just use a block that is about 3 inches high and set that under the elevator. I crashed the dogsnot out of this plane when I first got it because I did the level calibration with the plane sitting on the landing gear and of course that resulted in the plane wanting to climb and then stall and then crash
@@kool-k-kel To get crossfire working, you need to change the output in the receiver for channel 1 to SBUS. By default it is set to CRSF. I used the desktop app to do that.
@@BryonGaskin excellent advice thank you for getting back at me on this. cheers dude!
No Stabilizer in this 1 Blowy? Not with the prop vibrating the whole show like that! 😜😆
Also will you be joining the Kmart glider rehash craze? The little Eachine Flying Fish that's now available from the OzBanggood warehouse has pushed us to try making twins with the Byme stabs from the Kmart chuckies. 😀
It's a great flyer and that flying fish is tamping to buy
Sounds like the propeller is unbalanced
Are you Guna do the flap mod to this or not worry about it as it don't need it.
I was going to for another video but it does fly really good without them
@@blowy48flyrc maybe flap mod with led's and turn it into a slow dusk/night flyer.
Would be a interesting "how to" video.
Either way keep it sunny side up 👍
I removed the spinner on mine and the vibrations disappeared.
