Last year, Alex Hirsch said that he wants to continue Gravity Falls' storyline in a different medium, like in a video game. The problem is that the decision is not up to him, it's up to Disney because they own all rights to the show.

Fun fact: Gravity Falls has two ties to Scooby-Doo. The character of Wendy is voiced by Linda Cardellini, who played Velma in the two live-action theatrical Scooby-Doo movies, and Grey Griffin (formerly Grey DeLisle), who voices Daphne in many of the Scooby-Doo animated movies, and provided additional voices for Gravity Falls.

Oh yeah! I recently bought the journal and it's super cool! On that page there's a secert message from Bill on it that says "some of this junk ended up in my dimension" implying that there is a way into the nightmare realm from the bottomless pit :D
The 3DS is a goldmine of licensed cartoon platformer games, can't wait for the potential Adventure Time and Regular Show games

Oh I got an Adventure time game is played all the time. It’s basically Legend of Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link. But it’s all Adventure Time characters. I’ve had a lot of fun with it. I don’t remember the name though, but was made by WayForward.
WayForward also made a Regualr show game I also don’t know the name of but it’s a very unique game and I find it a bit hard.

According to an interview with Alex he does say that if he gets the chance, he does want to make a full-blown game about Gravity Falls, but Disney is not willing to do that for some reason. So don't lose hope my friends there might one day be a new story in the Gravity Falls universe.
I heard about that, I do hope he can get a chance to make the game he wants to make, I would definitely be down for it, especially if it ends up being AAA Quality, the good kind.
Disney should realize that just because a show ended 6 years ago, doesn’t mean they should abandon it. Gravity Falls is still one of the most well respected cartoons of all time with a still strong fanbase. No, I do not want a season 3, but Disney should at least be open to new ideas in other mediums.

Story time!
Once, I was at Target with a friend, and we found ourselves in the video game section. This particular Gravity Falls game was being sold there, but I couldn’t help but notice that the price wasn’t on display. I brought this up with the employees there, and it turns out it was only, like, $5.
So guess who ended up getting a 3DS game based on a popular cartoon for really cheap that day? (I beat it pretty quickly, too. I think it took less time for me than it took Ryder, actually.)

I actually remember reading on the Gravity Falls wiki that there's some form of Dipcifica moment in this game. There goes something good for fandom that came out of this thing.
To make that ending even better, that pit actually leads to the same place Ford was trapped for most of the series! This was confirmed in Journal 3 by Ford himself. It'd be very bad if someone like Gideon got them, but now any ol' abomination of the Nightmare Realm can too!

Nerd alert: actually certain items dont ever come back up from the pit, if you read the journal it says "some things i lost like my car keys never came back up weirdly almost everything comes back on Friday the 13th" so maybe the gems also fall under the "staying down in the pit" category?
nope! as cool as that would be, i finished the game and the gemulets come back up from the pit and are eaten by grompers (edit) posted this before finishing the video and didn't realize he included that scene haha either way they still come back out the hole

i played the game for no other reason than the character dialogue, and im glad to say i kinda enjoyed it! the gameplay really is repetitive but its relatively easy to tune out as you wait to get to the plot. it had a lot of amazing one liners and i genuinely cackled at a lot of it. Bless jeff for making the game playable.
I hope we could get more gravity falls games in the future

If I remember correctly, after you beat the game you get some kind of coded message in the journal in the bottom screen, and no matter how hard I tried I couldn’t fine a way to decode it.
It says: "...bless you, elder shmebulock" and is coded with the caesar cipher code used in the journals

I remember getting this game back around 2017. Really enjoyed it.
Only issue I had with the game is it's too short. My 12 year old self 100%'ed the game in 2 weeks.
I’m glad to see someone cover this game in full, I owned this way back when it came out but I was a really dumb preteen and bad at platformers-at the time, now platformers are all I play lol-so I never got past the early game and I don’t think I own my copy anymore, so thanks for acknowledging it!
12:00 Well according to the real life journal number 3, one of the pages states that only some items will come back after being thrown into the bottomless pit. In that one episode where they fell in the bottomless pit, they just got lucky.

well the thing is with the bottomless pit whether you return or not is completely RNG (yes i used video game terms in real life)
In journal 3 ford said that the things thrown in to the bottomless pit could or could not come back up, it is confirmed they won’t after 24 hours of not coming back up
I loved the Gravity Falls game ^^ I used to play it so much when it first was released XD
I really loved the 3D effects and overall places designs XD
And there were secrets codes in the game to decode just like in the Cartoon :'D I just loved it.
I also switched the language of my 3DS system to English, so that I can play it in the original language (cause mine was German XD), I just wanted to make sure that I lose none of the jokes to some translation stuff XD
But looking back... yeah the gameplay wasn't the best, but as a huge Gravity Falls fan I just loved every second of it XD

The Adventure time one is called, get ready, Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd You Steal Our Garbage?!!. The game I found extremely difficult as a kid and when I went back to beat it I STILL can’t get past the last part.
Same thing with the Regular show game. I couldn’t get past area three because it just becomes getting halfway, dying , restarting the level, and then dying the same part. Gotta say these games take a bit of challenge. The game is called Regular Show: Mordecai and Rigby in 8-Bit Land
The eye on the portal that takes you to the dark Jeff fight is the same as the one on the portal door in The Owl House.

Okay, I know about the Steven Universe games. I also know about a couple of the adventure time games (the Bloons one from being in the Bloons community, and a specific sailing themed one I randomly found on the nintendo switch E-shop that I bought because why not. There’s also Card Wars... which kinda doesn’t exist at all anymore. Card wars got removed from the App Store and I really want it back.), but ive never seen a gravity falls game
Fun (or not so fun) fact: Not counting web or mobile games, Gravity Falls LOTGG was the last video game based off a Disney TVA series.
However, given Gargoyles' game is getting remastered, there might be a chance for not only Gravity Falls, but for other Disney TVA series that could use another game or have one at all.

When the game came out my parents got it for me on my Birthday I’m 2015 or 2016 I think, and I made it to the end; In my opinion I cherish this game now knowing the season is over and that this is one of the only other things that is linked towards gravity falls that I can still play everyday!
I got this game for christmas shortly after it launched. I remember it was pretty short but really enoyable.
Lost Vikings, Quackshot, Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, and Game Boy Animaniacs, Sega Genesis Beavis and Butt-head, and Nintendo DS Simpsons game vibes in this one.
After seeing this I looked up games on the 3ds and dang that’s a lot of good games
I HOPE they MAKE a MUCH HARDER PART 2 where the gems do come out and also are stronger because they have been together so long and some villan comes.
This game is so fun! I love the mini games & scavenger hunts.

There was another Gravity falls Game where it's gone now after when Disney XD app left it was called Gravity falls take back the falls it was a cool beaten up and you also get to play as the mystery robot it was cool game.
