In reality, the tower takes riders to the top of the 230-foot (70-meter) tower aboard a gondola that rotates. Once at the top, the gondola drops down at a speed of 62 mph (100 kph). The most intense part of the ride is probably the VR goggles that may give the rider an illusion of dropping somewhere else, but no one is swinging around the tower, and it never changes in size.
this ride is physically impossible everyone would die on the first drop and if not when the got pulled back up that fast they would be serously injured

I actually saw this in Korea a long time ago when I was a teen. There were no swing drops and swinging. The tower is edited to look taller. It's actually just like "Drop Zone" from Carowinds except A LOT more seats and a little bit taller.

It just reaches to the top, enjoy the scenery from the top... Before you even realise the frightening drop, it's over. It's a good thrill and excitement rush.

Yeah, the _real_ gyro drop is fun and when I went there, I had a VR set on me as we went up, but it’s a normal drop tower.
A ride like this depicted on this video would’ve really killed people at the speeds depicted in the video.

According to the law of energy conservation, if the ropes were to contract like that, the people would spin faster, this making the contraction of the ropes to slow it down useless

That drop is just not safe. First if you have not been on a drop tower, it feels super weird in your stomach when you fall. Even from like 40 feet. But dropping that fast, you would die because of witnessing over at least 7 Gs. Even if you didn’t die, you would be sent to the hospital for severe air loss in your lungs
