At 61 I have some arthritis in both knees. My Ortho knee doc suggested that it was time to give up on softball. I am not a monthly subscriber but I have purchased the books and Ben shares a lot via CZcams etc. His exercises have allowed me to continue playing.
I’m so happy to hear that his exercises have impacted you so powerfully and you can continue playing!
Ben Patrick is revolutionising the whole fitness and strengthening concept. On it and its been months now. SATISFIED. Happy for you.
So glad to hear you've had a great experience as well. It has been life changing!
AWESOME video, Victoria! I’ve always heard amazing things about ATG’s programming. This is AWESOME! I’m glad you’re seeing value in it! 🔥🔥🔥
SO much value! I can't wait to keep progressing and see what month 6 brings at my next update point! LFG!
I can't wait to see what your ACL Secrets course is going to be like. Great content and appreciate all the updates!
It's going to be dope! Check it out here: www.aclsecrets.com/
Nice production quality!
Thank you! All thanks to trufocusproductions.com/
Thank you so much for this insightful review Victoria! As a fellow online and in-person ATG coach, it’s been a pleasure helping spread Ben’s system and guide others through a route that has provided so much development for my own fitness journey as well!🙏 Keep up the epic work!
Thank you!! Appreciate that 🙌🏽
Great video Victoria! I have been doing ATG for about a year and a half now, and it’s been amazing. I too, struggled with knee pain, foot pain, ankle pain, the whole mess. I love hearing stories like yours because the smile people have is so awesome to see. After years and years of pain, knowing that you can conquer those movements and rise above them is so empowering. Love this!
Thanks Sam!! I'm so glad to hear you've been loving the program too, and I'm sure feeling a lot better as well. 🙌
You have no idea how happy I am to hear your feedback on the program! I have been experiencing knee pain for the past 5 years or so and finally decided to take recovery serious! Today I started week 2 of the Zero program and am SO ANXIOUS for results lol but this video was so so helpful! Thank you!! Excited to see the rest of your journey!
It takes some time, like anything, but you'll get there! Just stick with it and stay consistent! Super excited to hear how your keep progressing!!
Thanks for sharing this, especially the info about the online program. I have the Zero book and have been working with that, but have been considering the online program.
The online program is amazing! Highly recommend 👍🏽
63 year old runner here.
My lower body has never felt better! Back to mileage I did 20 years ago.
Great feedback Victoria thank you so much. I am 15 months postop on my ACL and your feedback has been super helpful.
Thank you so much! Continue on with your journey!
awesome video.
Thank you! 🙏🏻
Just got the ATG app/program. So excited to start 2moro.
Enjoy!! You’re going to love it!
I'm sold!!!! 😊
I needed to hear this. I did the Zero programme and my knees pain disappeared. I got lazy with the workouts, started running again and lasted 3months before I was out. Got to start the Standards program this time. Thanks for the vid 👍
Best of luck my friend!!
This video is everything I needed to hear. My first week down and I can’t wait to see where I’m at in 4 months!!!
Woohoo!!! Keep it going!!!
God damn ma'am. Your legs have taken so many hits and yet you came back stronger. Kudos to that! I am going to be taking up the program to help with my quad tendon pain. It's been bothering me for over a year now.
Thank you so much and continue that mindset! Let me know how it goes!
@@VictoriaDorsano Surely, I will. Have a good day!
Hi I have just started following your channel and knees over toes guy ben. I'm 65 years old and at 19 years old I had a patella tendon reconstruction and have always struggled with knee pain. I'm now doing sled pulls and pushes with no pain which is amazing. I then do your small 1 legged knee bends on the flat and with a slant board. I really struggle to bend the bad knee more than 1 inch with no pain about a half hour later I'm getting pain. Should I continue these 1 legged bends or just stick to the sled
I’d say try doing the Patrick steps on flat ground until there is no pain there then progress up to the 1inch.
Just signed up - my first day is tomorrow (Patellar Tendinopathy from running)!
Ooooo have fun! And best of luck! 🤘🏽
Hey Victoria! This is awesome to see! I have been planning to get into the program to help deal with tendon pains in my knee and ankle. How long did you do Zero, Dense, Standards? 12 weeks of Zero would be 3 of your 4 months so I’m curious how long until you went into Dense!
I did the zero program for about 3 weeks before I transitioned to their signature "ATG program". I felt I had good mastery of the zero movements and cleared it with their coaches to advance. I'm thinking about moving into "dense" next! Will keep you posted! Best of luck on your journey!
I'm so happy you are no longer in pain. Does he cover other areas of the body too, for example, the lower back, or just targets the knees period?
Total body! Back, shoulders, neck, etc
Great video! Did you do the workouts exactly as recommended. Or did you do more? For example 20 minutes of backwards walking instead of 10.
Sometimes I’d beef it it a bit but not often!
Hi Victoria, Enjoyed your video. I’ve been following Ben Patrick for years doing some of his exercises. I usually weight train 3-5x/week. The reason I haven’t signed up yet is how do you incorporate this program with a normal strength routine? I don’t want to spend hours in the gym doing my exercises along with his? Are his exercises, including upper body, enough to maintain strength and balance all muscle groups?
Hi! They offer tons of different routines in the app. Some are based to be supplements to your normal lifting routine!
Hi Victoria - thanks for all these great videos! I tore my acl and am now about 5 months into rehab and feeling strong but not running yet. How far along we’re you from your acl tear before you embarked on the ATT program?
I didn’t find the program until 1.5 years out! But I would have started it around the 6-8 month mark if I could have as long as my PT signed off on it 🙌🏽
@@VictoriaDorsano thanks!!!! I think I’ll bring up the zero one to my PT to get things started.
I have pain in the inside of the knee. Been doing Ben's zero for the last month. Its helped with pain in the front of the knee, but the inside pain still persists. Can anyone share their experience of the same? Please advise the best exercises for that.
I'd recommend reaching out to the ATG coaches through the program app!
Hi! Wondering which of the ATG programs you’re talking about in this video?
It was an old program called "The ATG Program" which was a series of weekly workouts that Ben was doing himself each week.
Hello Victoria, thanks for you feedback. Just a question : I have some crack in my knee during exercice. Does I have to go over ? Does it disappear with time ? And one more question, my knee is a little bit warm after kot exercices, does it is normal ? Did you go throw this ? Thx
Cracks and pops ARE normal. Ben said his eventually went away but I’m not sure his time frame. I’d assume around a year of consistent atg training and sled pulls. Probably just building those ligaments and muscles up will take care of it
Great question! Yes, Cracks and pops are normal..so long as there isn't pain and swelling following. Warmth is okay. That means your knee (and muscles surrounding) is getting blood flow which is a good thing! I still have pops and cracks in my knee too.
I struggle with full knee bend with calf touching hamstring on the atg split squat. Did you have full range on that when you started? If not, how did you get to full range?
I did have full range, but Ben recommends starting in an assisted form like this to work your way to full ROM slowly: czcams.com/video/5B_Shkbc19s/video.html
Did you start with Standard program? Or you started with Zero? What's your advice to the newbees to the ATG? How to get started?
I started with zero! I’d recommend doing zero until pain free, then progressing to dense, then standards!
Can you tell me the name of device like fixed bike you are using in first weeks after surgery, i saw it in this video while your leg still wrapped and you are sitting on ground??
It's like cpm but it's active
The name of device and where did you buy it
It’s called a camo ped, and my surgeon wrote a prescription for me to rent it out.
❤
👁m curious about yor covid ordeal, I basically lost the month uv may & am back now.. I was surprised 2 be able to do 12 pullupz after a 5 week break..(👁 wuz thinkin that 5 or 6 wuddv been good) I had been uzing summuv the principlez that Benz teachers taught him while training the pull upz & am syur thatz y there wuz residual strength..
Yeah i was out with COVID for about 3 weeks at least...and my strength stayed about the same. I was so impressed!
Your aclsecrets link website is not working?
I switched to a new platform and missed swapping that link out. Good catch! Here’s the new link: pillar.io/victoriadorsano/checkout/5ce89e00-27fa-11ee-baf4-a7c8bfebcd05
Are you getting a crunchy sound from your kneecap when you extend your leg ?
For me, it's more so when I'm in full flexion with the knee and extending it just the first few degrees from the deep bend.
great video... did you do the sled?
I do the sled 4-5x per week and love it!
@@VictoriaDorsano congratulations on your progress! Super inspiring 🙌 I am at the beginning of my KOT journey. I've noticed after workouts that I have pain, which I think is soreness but I'm not sure. Have you experienced this as well? Was your progress linear? I'd appreciate your thoughts on this, thanks in advance!
I had some soreness after some of the KOT workouts for sure! Sometimes some pain, which then I’d regress the movement a bit to build back up to a point where it would be pain free. I’d say it’s been relatively linear with a few dips along the way when I progressed a move too quickly 🙌🏽 hope that helps!!
@@VictoriaDorsano sure does, thanks
Just subscribed to your channel. Love your down to earth approachable style. I’m an ultra runner who battles with knee issues. So basically, I don’t run and show up to race once or twice a year and just “gut” 50 -62 miles. But Ben intrigues me. I watch all his content no purchased tib bat, monkey foot, slant board. Etc. Bens program seems to be the next step to finally get my knees figured. Thanks!
Can you send me the link
Thanks

@@VictoriaDorsano Thank you
How about your shoe transitioning? I see you have the barefoot shoes on, can you talk about that plz? ALSO can you tell us the names of the exercises he made u do, thx!
Shoe transitioning went super smooth! I love my barefoot shoes. You can watch the video I made about them here: I'm Trying Barefoot Shoes!
czcams.com/video/73YTqc5NVjo/video.html
There are lots but some of the main exercises were:
VMO squats
ATG squats
ATG split squats
Tibialis raises
Back extensions
Full range shoulder press
Nordic hamstring curls
And lots more! His book details them out here: amzn.to/3v4HkER
Are you affiliated in any way?
Nope! Just a fan of the program.
