Alrighty y'all! So I've been getting a LOT of people asking...
"What ATG program should I be starting with? And what order should I go in?"
Ben Patrick aka The Knees Over Toes Guy has commented on this a bit in some of his videos, as well as his website, and a few reddit forum posts, but I figured I would share that same information here - as well as some info on all of the current main ATG program offerings that are available to jump into.
Be sure to check out Ben Patrick's KOT book here: amzn.to/3iKvclu
QUICK NOTE: I was a bit brain foggy while shooting this video (can't win em all, yano?) so excuse a few errors in the terminology like..
ATG Essentials is actually ATG program
ATG Sprinter is actually ATG for Speed
ATG PHA Style training is actually ATG Style PHA Training
And for a great answer on program progression, check out Ben's answer in this Reddit post here: / the_atg_program_vs_den...

Stumbled upon this video. My first time seeing you. Very well spoken and provides good amount of information with out the “uh, and like” in your commentary. Nicely done.
Thanks Victoria for another fantastic video!
You’re so welcome!!
Thanks Victoria, great overview! I am a great advocate of Ben’s exercises & dip in/out of ATG whilst playing other sports. However I have become confused as to the progression. Now I know! Thanks again !👍
Love that!
Thank you 4 this info ! 🙌🏾
You got it!
Thanks for the insights! I am about a month and a half into the knee zero program. I'm excited to hear about your progress, and I'm hoping I see some of the same results!
I’m confident you will! It has been a game changer! Good luck on the rest of your zero journey!
Do you know where to find the Tues/Thurs exercises from Zero? Do I need equipment for them?
I need this for the volleyball program. Just wanna see what ezcercises are in it
I want you to know that thanks to your ACL story and all your ATG I have decided to give the ATG program an oportunity. I suffered an meniscal tear two years ago and sometimes I don't lift confortably. I will start like you, with ZERO until I get enough strength in the knee and move to DENSE.
Looking forward to hearing your results!!
@@VictoriaDorsano I will for sure.
@@rubenperezgarcia8137 \/?
@@rubenperezgarcia8137 Have you been able to stick with ATG? has it been able to help?
The programs on the app are really good but working personally either online or in-person with a certified ATG coach will always be better. The ATG movements are like a palette of colors, the programs on the app are paintings. An ATG coach can paint a personal picture for you and teach you how to paint yourself. Enjoy your training
What a great metaphor!
Thank you so much for this video. Can you please make a video about knee exercises for non operative ACL injury?
I've been on my 5th month since I got the injury and I have not yet decided to have a surgery. What exercises do you recommend for those who have not undergo a surgery? Thank you.
Will do! 🙌🏽
Thanks!!!
You’re welcome!
Since 18 months I have tendonitis in my knee from too much running. Just bought the zero book. What program would you suggest for my purpose?
Would love your review of functional patterns
I’ll definitely consider doing that!
The PHA training sounds a lot like the German Body Comp training invented by Charles Poliquin
Hi Victoria, I just turned 60 and still train fairly aggressively; except for my knees! I have severe knee tentonitis which prevents me from bending deep and especially over my knees. Do you think his program might still work for me? Great content BTW!!! Thank you!
It definitely could! I’d give it a shot and progress very slowly! I had some patellar tendonitis that the program helped with myself
@@VictoriaDorsano Thank you!
It would be perfect for you!
Ty
Hey great video! I'd really like to buy this program and try it out, however, I just had surgery on my right shoulder for a labral tear (just got out of the sling). I likely won't be able to put much strain on the shoulder for 2-3 months but I'd really like to get going on this program. I know the "zero" portion doesn't have weights involved so I'm not worried my shoulder limiting me on those exercises, but I think I'll progress through them quickly given my background. Are the other programs all just adding weight to the same exercises? Or is it more difficult movements? Thx!
More difficult movements for sure!
They have many more programs now. I’ll be doing another video on the updates. Some of them will be great for helping your shoulder down the road too.
@@VictoriaDorsano That's great to hear! Gonna buy the program today and give it a shot. I'm super interested in his flexibility protocol, too. Thx for the response!
You’ll love it! Enjoy!!
Thanks very interesting, new to this trying to get the knee ready for surgery
How do you know if you should progress to the next program. ?
Also, do you also workout /train in addition to the atg programs
If you are able to complete all the movements totally pain free and in their full form, then you can progress to another program if you want. But Ben recommends 12 weeks in each program.
I do about 90% ATG program and then a few additional lifts or runs!
Just got the app. Do you just repeate the zero cycle? There not a next page or a week 3 type of thing if that makes sense
Awesome! Yes with the new app, you just repeat the zero cycle.
Hello. I just had hip replacement surgery in May. I have bone on bone in left knee and arthritis in right. Hip recovery is going well. Would knee zero be a good program to build foundational strength throughout knee, glutes and hip flexors?
Absolutely! Worth giving it a shot for a few weeks and seeing how you feel
By the way you are awesome 😎 😊 thanks for sharing videos
My pleasure 😊
My 13 year old just started the in-season volleyball program. It was perfect timing because she started her own made up at-home lifting routine and right after I discovered ATG for my knees. I told her Ben trains some of the top elite athletes in the world so let’s try his program! She agreed. Looking forward to seeing her progress!
Have you tried the volleyball programs yet?
I have! I’ve done the in season program combined with their jump training and it was great!
@@VictoriaDorsano awesome!
What about the back ability zero program? That's the one I'm curious about. Any feedback on that one yet?
I haven't done that one, but I've looked through it and it looks really great!
Do you think this program can help someone with a full acl tear in one of the knees and wants to get back to playing tennis without surgery?
Absolutely!
Thank you! Very helpful to hear from a female perspective!
You’re very welcome!!
Is there still grip and neck training aside from art essentials
Yes in some programs!
what is the frequency/rep/sets in the dense program?
I cover this all in the dense program review here:czcams.com/video/EZWvcrQCdWk/video.htmlsi=ie17xRA2pRmCE-Y4
Is this concept able to eliminate stretching and rolling ?
Stretching can still be beneficial, but this will help eliminate a lot of stiffness.
Thanks for your input. I may try the program but not totally give up on mine. id like to see how balanced his program is.@@VictoriaDorsano
Ben Patrick says he does not do any rolling or any additional therapeutics besides the program.
Stretching is done as part of the program for sure , Ben calls it strength stretching. To me it looks like Dynamic and static stretching. Good stuff

Hi. Just cane across this video of yours. Great review on the ATG program! Do you have anymore ATG videos you created? Want to get as much background info before I purchase and I appreciated how yours came across as completely objective and first-hand experience based.
Have one additional question about purchasing the program, but want to make sure you are still replying to these comments before asking. Thanks.
Yes! Check out my knees over toes playlist. Lots of ATG videos there for more info 🙌🏽
Do you recommend bike 🚴 riding as an addition of rehab?
Yes!
@@VictoriaDorsano thanks! Your videos are awesome
