- Welcome to this simple car and action camera setup. We'll be working with the camera in Blender. Adding different moves together to film an action car shot. The camera and car work together in creating an action shot. In this Blender tutorial for beginners I'll break down the 5 steps to creating a sweet action shot.

It's really relaxing to watch your videos. Even if I wasn't interested in learning this I would still enjoy it. Like somebody else said: you're like Bob Ross of 3d animation. You're Blend Ross.
haha that is so funny! That is a great name Blend Ross :D
That's nice, thanks for the note!
I'll be making some more tutorials on character action and performance :)
Absolutely fantastic tutorial!!!👋👋
Thank you Krissosful!!
Thanks for the tutorial sir... would be interested in learning more about camera animations, and how to creatively utilize it...
That's great to hear! If you haven't seen this video, czcams.com/video/ub7ODI33Gbo/video.html I would suggest it. Nice basics about camera and framing.
I'll continue to make videos about animation and working with the camera. Thanks for the note!
Cool 👍
Nice, thanks Suri Fox!
Looking forward to more videos)

@@gray.wolfe.animator That's a great suggestion, thanks! I'll work on a sci-fi scene over the next few tutorials:)
Very well put
I appreciate that, thank you!
@@alexonstory I have a CZcams channel surrealmookie I cover battlerap media but I'm trying to take my media to the next level
@@alexonstory I want to know how I make a mouth and tongue and eyes on a RIGG with none I never see a video with it
@@alexonstory also I need to learn better light tricks and nodes system is to difficult to learn
Sorry for the late reply! Nice! Just checked out some of your videos. It's great your wanting to go to the next level! You got this!
I would focus on 2 or 3 things you want to improve at. Then spend the next 3 months just getting better at those few topics. It's all about baby steps. Before you know it you have taken a big step in the direction you want.
Learning new things is not easy. But your videos are already showing that your on your way. For car animation I would consider my car action tutorial and my basics camera tutorial. Give it a go. It's all about starting simple and layering more simple ideas on top of each other to build a more complex shot.

The camera movement is okey but when you see from the side the car wheels are not turning 🤔so the weels are not rigid right? If the wheels are rigid shouldn't you do it in Pose mode? Object mode?
The tires are rigged. But yes I could have another look at the animation of the tires for sure.
This car rig does not use bones so there is no need to go into pose mode. It's a hierarchy and I stay in Object mode the entire time.
@@alexonstory I got it...👍
can you tell me why my render does not come out with reflection?
My first thought might be the car material. The material needs to be reflective. Second thought is lighting in your scene. If it's too dark you won't see much.
For my setup I had a car I downloaded from Sketchfab. I used Eevee with the HDRI options that come with the viewport shading. I added an extra sun light and did a simple viewport render.
Hope that helps!
Can you talk about just 1 part of how Sonic prime is turning out?
As good as season 1 was. I think season 2 will be even better!
Sonic vs shadow is a long battle?
I don't know. We'll have to wait and find out together~
What program do you use to Animate sonic prime.
We use Maya. I have only used Maya as a professional. Hopefully that'll change to using Blender in a number of years.
@@alexonstory Cool, I use blender to animate, also can you do a tutortial of how to do good lighting in blender, PLEASE I REALLY NEED IT!
@@NicksterKicker That's great! I'll do a bit on lighting, such an important aspect of film making. But I am not a lighting artist so I won't dive to deep.
I think you had another comment about animating like Sonic. Yes for sure I can do a cartoony action:)
@@alexonstory YEAH THANKS A LOT!😍😍
@@NicksterKicker For sure! Happy to :)
can you share the files、
In the future yes I can. It's a great point.
I have to learn more about sharing assets that are not mine and how that works. I got everything from Sketchfab and added my own rig to the car.
Maybe I share a stripped down version of the scene with low poly assets. It would still have all the animation just not the assets.
Thanks for the note!
maya is better than blender
@@user-rw4xh7ge2u I professionally work with Maya. But choose to personally work with Blender. At this point I think it's preference and studio adoption. We'll see where the two are in 10 year.
Super Sonic in Sonic prime????
We'll all have to wait and see.
its not scientific tutorial please be precise how attach empty box to the car
Hey!
I do go over creating tow empty controls and parenting the camera to the controls. I like to select the child then the parent (the control driving the action) right click and parent - object.
