(INFP) Gratitude tastes like that ingredient a mother puts in the food, that when asked how she makes it, denies having added anything special. Gratitude taste like love and tenderness.
😭💕
Are most INFPs poets
Yes!! Agreed 💖
@@naturalinstinct4950 maybe most but not all, im not 😆🤧

Actually, if someone told me they were talking about the concept of a doughnut, I would laugh so much I might forget about the doughnut entirely. And as an intuitive, I will find more satisfaction in making a silly debate about the concept of a doughnut rather than eating a doughnut, which would make me happy for five minutes and that's it.
By the way, I think that a good way to tell if someone is sensory, is if they talk about what they did on the weekend. Specially if they described how things looked or sounded like. On the other hand, if someone asks me what I did on my weekend, I would go blank for moment forgetting about the details and then I would say bluntly I did "X", then I would go on about what I wanted to accomplish by doing that and why I did it, instead of saying what I did or how I did it.
!!!!!....
Excellent description of what it is to be an intuitive 🤣
INTP here. I'm going to name my next band "Platonic Doughnut."
Lindsay, if someone showed up without a doughnut because they meant the abstract concept of a doughnut I would be happy because there seems to be someone with a mind working as uselessly as mine. I would not be alone any more. I can't count how many times I said yes to a thing because the abstract concept sounded great only to notice that the other person means a concrete thing I didn't actually want.
Lmao imagination doughnuts for all
I have been there so many times in my youth 😂
There is so much beauty in the abstract
Anyway, re: gratitude, it tastes like a firstborn child since that's the payment I demand for anything I ever do for anyone ever.
😛😛😛 hahahahaha
lmao.
Yay Rumplestiltskin!
LiJo:“What does gratitude taste like?”
Me: “Lays BBQ chips~ ❤️ :3”
This world is not meant for INTJs. I feel incredibly out of place.
Neither for intps
As an Ne user, gratitude obviously has a really sweet cherry smell with a aftersmell of home baked pies, it tastes like warm apple+berry syrup, it sounds like clair de lune 😊
If you're a cat, motivation comes in neat boxes labeled 'Cat treats'
I love treats.
What does gratitude taste like... I just kept thinking of all the synethesiacs who literally have a sensory taste associated with an abstract concept... And then I thought how fascinating it is that people with synethesia have sensory assosoation with other sensory things or sensory associations with abstract things... And then I fell down a Ni rabbit hole for like 30 minutes... 😂
Great video Lindsay!! ❤
Lmao that’s a fun rabbit hole to go down!
I fell into the same rabbit hole. lol.
Thank you! That's the first thing I thought of as well. Also, thank you for watching and commenting in a timely manner, instead of a year later.
this is what gratitude sounds like:"Thank you"👍
Great way to understand the difference between sensory and intuition
Gratitude is sweet, obviously... there's a noticeable overtone if umami, with a mellow aftertaste. You can add a hint of smoke, or a bit of nutritional yeast for a vegan cheesy flavor, but skip the heat on this one.🧙♂️
😍
It’s interesting which words your Ni + Te chose to associate intuition with. I think your Te axis is really showing, especially in leverage.
As a Ne + Ti user I most associate words like truth, reason, creativity, nature, chaos , systems, and even divine with intuition.
Te dominant here. I would associate most of the words you listed here with intuition as well.
Quality content as usual, a valuable and definitive example of the disctinction, short and to the point, hope you keep it up!
My mind's racing right now, constructing the web of how I can use this concept to spot ENFP's.
Btw. By assimilating your mastermind system+making personal adjustments I've cut most of my goal completion times in half, so thank you for that aswell.
Ahhh amazing on the goals that makes me so happy.
That music got me pumped for this gameshow
Really like the game idea makes it more fun Haha.
You can feel gratitude. Not sure if that is sensory or intuitive but best feeling ever
LiJo: x is so fascinating
Me: OK, this must be an intuitive concept.
/ENFJ
Hahah yes
I knew an ESFP who was into Astronomy and Spirituality, crystals an gemstones, Tarot and Reiki. That's the Se-Ni axis but he still is dominantly a Sensor.
Sometimes I wonder why your videos don’t have more views. Then, I remember being an INTJ is pretty rare 😂
😍
You made it very clear and straight forward, thank you.
You mentioned most of my Se person's favorite things lol. Except maybe the oil painting
5:17 "So, at the end of the day, who cares, Lindsay?"
...*I* care!
Lol I’m glad you do Ian
Gratitude tastes like Humble Pi (or pie)! Punny? Idk... I am an INTJ. This is my kind of humor 🤷🏼♀️
thats a good one, great sense of humor(your extraverted counterpart).
Hi Lindsay, how long did you have to spend in the sensory to put together the edits on this video? I appreciated the game show music and visuals 👌 good work. This helped me understand the differences better so thank you! 😊
For me, gratitude tastes sweet, fulfilling, and satiating. 😊 From an INFP
I immediately thought of gratitude tasting like bubblegum, but I actually think it would taste like lavender.
Gratitude sounds like saying thank you to someone
Thank you for your time. Your videos flow with whatever is going on with me & flip switches more effectively than other areas I've explored. I try to catch what they're throwing but overall the juice isn't worth the squeeze.
Thanks again.
sensory v intuition
sensory simply recognizes what is out there in the environment. whereas, intuition takes what is sensed/perceived AND puts the pieces of the puzzle together based on logic and experience.
to use a mathematical example (i like math), say we are looking at the equation 2 + 2. sensory will look at 2 + 2, simply say that 2 + 2 IS 2 + 2 and; they will leave it at that. intuition will look at the equation 2 + 2 and, intuition will say that 2 + 2 = 4.
so, again, sensory simply recognizes what is out there in the environment whereas intuition recognizes what is out there AND extrapolates to the next logical step from there.
I instantly said 2 + 2 is 4 lmao Ty for the explanation btw
When I was a kid, my classmates used to ask me "Would you like a Hertz doughnut?" So, as my impressionable mind was contemplating why Hertz had branched out from renting cars to competing with Krispy Kreme, my interlocutor would kick me in the shin and say, "Hurts, dont it?" 😥
Another top tier video Lindsay! 🤗
Ahh thanks Alex. I appreciate it
This gives me an idea of how to play a game over zoom, thanks for the idea!! Also as an ENFI, i see how much my Se is developed because i do enjoy those physical things very much, it keeps me in shape :p
Gratitude is kinda tart but in a full, pleasing way, and it's clearly a round sound with a pleasant vibrate echo, yellow? yellow-pink? yellow-green?
How INTJs perceive other MBTI types? Can you make a video series out of this?
Interesting thought!!
@@InternetLiJo I'm a ESFP BTW, :)
I was thinking of cat as an abstract concept hehe
I like how you explain things usually in ways I can get also I would love it if you fi a video on on masculine va versus feminine ne .
Ten out of ten. :) Great video explaining what intuitive means.
Looking forward to this ! 🖤
gratitude tastes like CHOCOLATE CAKE or PIZZA or GOUDA CHEESE.
i just KNOW.
After much thought, gratitude to me is something bold. Not necessarily spicy, not extreme, but bold.. something very tomato-y. Like a good Italian dish. I'd be grateful for some pasta. Am I projecting maybe??
I love that you answered this
Gratitude tastes like the water you drink after having an ice cream on a hot day.
Ooooo
Ah, Voodoo Doughnuts.... Like cocaine, but worse for you
Lmao heaven
I'm hungry, and since you mentioned doughnut earlier in the video, gratitude now tastes like a doughnut. - intp
LiJo seemed much more fired up and relaxed in this one (if that makes any sense). I don't know if that's due to excellent scripting or being super passionate about the particular subject matter, but I liked it. Big thumbs up energy 👍
Gratitude tastes like cinnamon roles to me (INTP). They're my family's go to breakfast for holidays and special occasions; in other words, I've always had cinnamon roles on the mornings where the world slows down enough for me to appreciate the simple things in life.
Gratitude feels like friendly glances, warmness of passive hands and soft sensory whispers of sweet sincere mouth worked by strings of spiring sentiments of heart translated
That's so wonderful. :)
@@InternetLiJo thank you :)
Gratitude tastes like a strawberry 😂
butter, gratitude tastes like butter
First time to see a funny intj
🖤 just here with my snark
@@InternetLiJo
Typical intj response.
Fellow Entp here
Sensory is far more objective and concrete. Intuition is more subjective and abstract. This is the thought that came to mind when you were talking.
Yes!
Yesss, this is so accurate
I thought of Thanksgiving when you asked what it tastes like, and I'm an ESTJ with strong Ne.
Intj here but if I could taste gratitude it would be some kind of soul food. Very sastifying and warm
"Cat" for me is a metaphysical concept
Intuitives, where are you? 😊
Good decision to show yourself on CZcams. You’re a star baby
Gratitude taste like a pomegranate
Well, I just got told to be a recluse, control freak introvert as a reply to my constant nagging so I guess I know what some of my type is.
i want to know what you know about leverage. i dont think ive ever met anyone or have seen anyone that clearly is on another level of intelect. you are like a female version of me with fantastic refinement. ill book a lesson and if you could please just use that money to make me a leverage video id love that. chat soon.
gratitude to me smells like vanilla and baking....
Oooooo... i agree.
INTP hates plugging my own add at very end of video "bla blah blah" thanks for posting these videos I been figuring stuff out finally 😁
Yo thank you for autonomy, I never thought to use that practically in language but it literally can mean anything conceptual that begins and goes on by itself until halted by external forces. I could say “my anger was autonomous that day, until I realized I was only angry at myself.”
I think that motivation would be a feeling because you it’s how you feel that motivates you at least that’s how I see it
This must be a trick question. Gratitude doesn't smell and if it does I don't want it.
If you told me you were bringing a doughnut I would assume you meant the all-encompassing doughnut that permeates and upholds all things
Perhaps it's because you are talking about oil paintings, but this whole video could be illustrated by Magritte's "Ceci n'est pas un pipe".
3:38 By your explanation of Stock Market, I can say Poker is both.
Yes, you play with cards, you try to read players' emotions while trying to hide yours to beat the statistical odds of your cards winning over the others. That's probably why I'm so bad at it.
Even going off tangent: The cards mean nothing. We could instead be playing Blackjack, another card game with the same 52 cards (minus the jokers). For the more able, they may be using the cards to play card tricks.
I guessed gratitude. Now I’m waiting.
What does automomy look like?
*immediately the video cuts to a youtube ad for a vehicule*
lmao
Mamma Lindsay likes Leverage because it is fulcrum of potential~change. She a lively pretty lady 😘
🥳😉
Number 4; Poker!
Why yes, yes I want to poke her! Right in the poke-eeeeeeee 😂
Lolol LINNNNN
this is so funny and entertaining love it
All words are sounds and those sounds are pulses of sensation that stimulate correlating sensation in others as they feel resonance with the symbolized abstraction that is a thought~intent.
Words are just noise that your blood makes, it just has to construct a whole humanoid body to do so. This is why different blood = different spoken language(the blood itself is language of genetics).
Even among siblings; slight genetic divergence means they have slightly different sense of "meaning" within; individual words, phrases, sentences, paragraphs, chapters, novels, languages as a whole.
I’ve thought about these things sooo many times Lin. Glad your brain goes the same place. And how easy they would be to simulate in a false reality through the right impulses sent to the brains.
@@InternetLiJo language = blood noise and hair = skin noodles, what next?
But what if you were promised a donut and recieved a bearclaw?
As it's on the subjective bounds of "donut", it would really depend on whether you are satisfied with the outcome of recieving the bearclaw. As in, your (at least mental) response would be: "I like this, therefore I accept your definition; thank you," or "this is not satisfactory, please give me the donut I was promised ASAP; until then, I will be formulating ROI-appropriate backup plans to obtain my originally-stated desired outcome in addition to interest in the form of revenge, so you best hurry".
Gratitude tastes like iced coffee but with a little less sugar and milk than you're used to.
Yeeee 😎
Hell yeah. Kevin. Infj.
Yo Kevin what upppp
Gratitude sounds good, gratitude tastes nice. (INTP)
I would say leverage falls into both domains. And there's nothing wrong with that. In the case of physical leverage that is a 100% physical, real, measurable phenomenon. Then as humans we also use the word leverage metaphorically. In that case it's an intuitive concept.
Gratitude tastes like a cold beer on a hot summers day.
The stock market is heavily abstract. It isn't amenable to the sensory at all.
The workings behind it. But when you are talking about it as an entity, it is a literal thing that you can identify.
@@InternetLiJo Interesting. Then if I understand your line of thought, the same sensory encapsulation would apply to, e.g.. "the weather", "the universe", "the afterlife", because despite being abstract concepts, all of their associations, real or not, are sensory, and they can be handled in cognition as-if they were as simple as any other sense datum. It's not the content, it's how it's being wielded.
The plot thickens.
Hey Lindsey thanks for this video !
I was wondering, how would you describe your demon SF ?
Good question! Well simply I don't really rate or "know" what I like in real life (in the sensory). What is cool, relevant, or important to others or myself I am just very disconnected with. If someone asks me if I've seen ______show, have heard about ______ person, like _______ car, I don't know. I never see those things as important (by default) and it takes conscious work to know what is relevant.
I love you. you are my tribe woman -intp
Poker is a bit tricky. While there are physical cards and players and such, Poker itself is a game and games are essentially sets of rules. You cant see, smell, hear, taste or touch rules. Could go either way i'd say.
Ne > Se > Si > Ni . IMO
Gratitude tastes like ... doughnuts 🤣🤣
Business people have turned leverage into a verb.
Gratitude smells like sex and candy, pretty certain... There's a whole song about it.
What about your thoughts on INFJs, ENFJs, ESFJs, ISFJs, ESTJs and ENTJs?
Since you asked,.... "gratitude " doesn't actually "taste" to me, except.... maybe grated cheese in the way the tongue moves in that first syllable. All words are based off of some sound and I think.... though you could say "gratitude" could be shaking hands, "thanks" or kneeling and pledging your life to your rescuer,.... it's mostly grey grated cheese
I think atoms are a nice example of sensory vs intuition. They are supposed to be real, -> sensory, at least for a very very very precise measuring device.
But a measuring device is only as clever as the person who developed it. So what that device is measuring is just the developers interpretation of the reality. So at the end atoms only exist for our intuitive functions. As this applies to almost every topic of physics, this is also the reason why most people never really understand it.
Liquor in the front poker in the back.
Gratitude tastes and smells like a hot freshly baken chocolate cake that you eat at home with your family on a holiday
I feel like gratitude tastes like a drop of smooth strawberry milkshake. I can get some sensory info like colors, moving shapes, and tastes when i think of abstract things. Does this mean i.m more on the sensory side? 😅 Because i can go either way actually, and talk about psychology type of subjects a lot, but i don.t go into more philosophical areas
You promise me a doughnut and fail to deliver a doughnut; you will witness demon Fe.
Ne-use here-- Gratitude to me tastes like a nicely seasoned gravy. What can you do with bland potatoes and a dry piece of meat? Add gravy! In the same way, thinking of what you are grateful for and showing gratitude to others makes life better, even in less-than-ideal circumstances.
Mmmmmmm
A person with auditory to taste synesthesia can tell you what gratitude tastes like when they hear the word. :D
Seems to me the language (English) is not descriptive enough or specific enough to clarify these differences. I once heard another comparison: If sensory is going a, then b, then c, etc all the way to z; then intuition means already knowing this pattern, so one can simply go straight from A to Z.
Doughnuts transcend the difference between sensory and intuitive.
Also, it may be what gratitude tastes like.
Best. Comment. Yet.
