- Video I captured on my phone of Mick Schumacher’s big crash in the qualifying session for the 2022 Saudi GP, at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
Was crazy to see this happen right in front of me, let alone to catch it on video. Sorry for the poor quality, I recorded this on my phone.
Was a shame he could not race the next day, but was still an amazing qualifying and race to see in person. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
heard someone say in arabic "this is the son of michael schumacher" makes every f1 fan happy when people recognise him through his dads legacy when they dont even know a thing about him
despite that devastating incident
Great job writing schumacher
@@DOKTOR_RACSO sorry I'll edit it
@@bidozine I didn't mean that as an offense, I just wanted to say it
I think they shouldnt
Fascinating to see how quick the cars slow the very second the red flag is thrown.
I wonder how they're notified of this. I think its displayed on their wheel and/or then maybe a computer literally slows down the car automatically
@@kryse4806 as you said, it's displayed on their wheel and then their engineers help them
not sure if this is the case for red flags as well but I know when there's a safety car they have beeps played in their earpieces
@@kryse4806 on the steering wheel, there will be lights that turns on depending on the colour of the flag that is being given, ex. black and white, red, yellow
i mean its soo fast, i think its automatic :D the red flag and red ,,slow lights'' are at same time. and lights are literally synchronized on thecars
Respect for Carlos checking is he okay
It was Charles, not Carlos
@@Dolek135 yeah, anyway It's Ferrari
@@Dolek135 they both checked
@@f1etc.438😢😅😢😊🎉😢😊😂

Good catch
On Google Maps this spot in the track is now called Mic’s Wall 😭
0:19 did he say "allah akbar mick schumacher!"? lol
Yes, yes he did
No he did not he said "alaalam al-ahmar" which means red flag
Aloha snackbar
Pretty sure it's like a blessing/prayer. I could be wrong but I think in this context it is.
@@adam.s007 no he didn't 😂😂
I love this track
are you serious?
@@NotoriousMac I think its a quick flouing track great for time attacking. Don't think it fits f1 I just hope its not gonna be another imola 94
It's really fun
Which grandstand is this ?
This is Central grandstand D, was great for qualifying, but I sat at main B for the race which I would say was a much better place to enjoy the racing.
Crash looks way less bad from this angle
wtf man
In person it was worse. Cars were very fast through there, and the impact sounded quite loud and hard as well. There was also a large amount of debris on track too. Didn’t help that Bee Gees "Stayin alive" was playing whilst the ambulance was driving past lol
@@Tigerbear62 oh wow
@@Tigerbear62 oh wow
@@Tigerbear62 the fact that his car rolled so far from the impact shows you on a mathematical level that the impact wasn’t that big, the impact is big if the car comes to a sudden or quick stop, it was a hard hit against the barrier but it wasn’t that extremely big as it looks
that got me movin like hatira HATIRA
0:19 listen to the commentator
?
@@Tigerbear62 he means that he's saying allahakbar
Allah Akbar basically means good god. It's a very common phrase and has nothing to do with what you probably think of.
@@nathanaelmalm5641 he didn't even say Allahu Akbar, he said "al-Ahmar" which means "the red one" (reffering to propably Mick's car or idk).
It's quite close to what you thought he said but it's not. I speak fluent arabic.
Oh and yes, Allahu Akbar is also a very common arabic phrase which is like an "Oh my God!" to us. So yah
@@samedman1 Oh, I misheard then. Yeah I don't actuslly speak arabic but I know a lot of Arabic speakers and I've lived in an arabic speaking country, so I knew what Allahu Akbar means. But I didn't know what Al-ahmar means so thank you for that.
Se hizo bosta
Aamiin
And this should be....a safe circuit???!!!!.....
🤮🤮🤮🤮
Yeah it is too dangerous tbh, but I still like the track
Thats what makes it fun to watch! Mick didnt even get injured which is good. High speed street circuits are so much fun (according to the drivers like Botas and Verstappen).
Keep crying
the race was so fun to watch live ;)
With that mindset we can't go to any circuit anymore.
#Retire44.
Commentry feels like they are cleaning their thorat
Well that’s Arabic.
what?
Have you never heard someone speaking Arabic before?
Never heard arabic yeah?
Hahaha
Congratulations on discovering that there is more than one language on this planet.
The so-called paid driver Chinese kid is doing better and seem more qualified to be in a future Ferrari seat.
well, everyone supported Zhou untill it was announced that he will get his sponsors to bring 30 million, then suddenly he was the "bad guy"
@@YoYo-tn5yj same for Zhou, and same for Magnussen for the first time in 6 years and I feel like both of them are doing better than Schumacher. It's always the same excuses from Schumacher fans but the 1 speciality you need to have as an F1 driver is getting used to new cars quickly or you're out of F1.
@@YoYo-tn5yj He is already in a good car just as Zhou's Alfa Romeo. You think Ferrari owes him a favour?
he's made quite a lot of mistakes himself. He's paid his way into a better performing car, not exactly fair to compare with Mick. Nonetheless I think the Chinese Kid has already exceeded expectations.
what if i say theyre both good and mistakes can be made ? pretty cool aint it
Mick is not much better than Mazepin. Doesn't deserve a seat whatsoever.
That's true but majority of f1 fans thinks that he's almost as good as Michael, and they forget that name doesnt improve driving skill
Idt so. I believe everyone deserves an F1 seat if they respect the drivers around them and not say mean things all the time to everyone or thing
@@Goldblasterblaze Oh... So I deserve a seat too then do I? Ridiculous comment. Obviously PR is important but the drivers skill and money they bring into the team is the single most important thing.
@@thesnackbandit Haas wouldn't be able to get any other driver either way... a lot of other promising drivers are mostly in academies and unless one of them had a great sponsor like Latifi, Mick is in for the long game. And if I remember he's still in Ferrari's driver academy.. Mick is still young to the sport and is not a prospect either but he does have the skill necessary to keep it up for a bit longer. That's just my opinion on where he is currently. He's now able to actually learn from Kevin too.
He had 1 shitty year in a shitty car. Gosh, give him some time. He had a great race in Miami until the last laps. I don't think he's like top drivers and definitely not like Michael but he's surely not an outsider.
