- This interview for Dutch TV in Monaco was also the first time that Max drove his father Jos in a road car… And what an experience it was for him! As some of you might not speak Dutch, we thought we’d help you out by adding subtitles to the video… Even though our Dutch is not perfect, by the looks on their faces this is how we translated it! :D

This is filmed in Monaco. Yesterday he won his first Monaco Formula one Grand Prix. How old was Max at the time this video was recorded? He was just practicing the Monaco track already back then. Boy is 100% in control and knows exactly what he's doing. Then and now. No difference.

i read that under a nother video were Max drove Jos and he looked scared there aswell. The comment said that good driver are more scared while driving as a passenger than casual people because they feeel every little understeer and cant react themself. I thought that sounded reasonable.

A lot of people are wondering what car is this, it's a Renault Clio RS Trophy 2015.
Also, a lot of people are saying that Jos drove an F1 car around this track before then why is he scared ? This is not unique to Jos but you can notice it on a lot of F1 drivers when they're passengers. Basically when you're not the one in control of the car and especially when the one driving has a very different driving style than you or has more experience in a different type of car that you drive, you can easily miss-predict the next input he's going to make and thus you get scared.
For example in your head you think that this car should brake at the 100 meters mark, anything further would send you straight to the wall, when the driver next to you with more experience in the car goes further to brake at the 75 meters mark, in your head you think "that's it, we're dead!"
