Pizza (feeds 5-7 people)
Preheat your oven to 425 F
3 packs of Stone Fire flat bread (2 in a pack)
Cheese Sauce: 4 cans of cannellini beans (rinsed and drained), 1/4 cup cashews (boiled if you can), 1 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tbsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 cup nutritional yeast, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar for tang, 1/2 to 1 cup of water to blend.
Tomato sauce: 1 large can crushed tomatoes, 1 tbsp onion powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 2 tbsp Italian seasoning or oregano.
Spread sauces on your flat bread, add toppings as desired (olives, arugula, hemp seeds, etc) Bake for 10 to 15 mins on 425 F (if you're using convection, you only need about 8-10 mins). Slice and serve warm!
Broccoli and Bean creamy pasta
Sauce: 2 cans cannellini beans, about 1 lb broccoli or however much you'd like and 1/2 cashews (optional). Boil broccoli and beans for about 1-2 mins. Drain most of the water but save a bit to blend. Add 1/4 cup nutritional yeast, 1 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar for tang, 1 tbsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder. Blend until smooth, adjust to your taste buds with pepper if needed.
Boil pasta to texture you like, we like it al dente about 7-8 mins. Stir sauce into pasta, drizzle with olive oil if desired, serve with additional nutritional yeast if needed.
High protein bean sandwiches
Bean spread: 2 cans of cannellini beans, 1/3 cup hemp seeds, 1 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar, 1 handful of dill, a wedge of red onion (optional), 1 tbsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 cup water, blend until smooth.
Prepare bread and toppings, we used sprouts, salad greens, chopped tomatoes, whatever you desire. Enjoy!
All these recipes are adjustable to your taste buds so be sure to season well, use less or more salt if needed and enjoy!

💛About us:
Hi! We are Trey and Rosa, we have 5 kiddos and we moved from the big city of Las Vegas to the outskirts of Pahrump to homestead and grow our own food with the goal of self-sufficiency. We have a small homestead with Nigerian Dwarf goats, ducks, chickens, and also have cats and dogs running around everywhere and recently converted to eating a full plant based diet due to health reasons.
We are passionate about growing our own food, eating clean & healthy, cooking food from scratch, desert gardening and making simple skincare products for our family and for you.
We specialize in making 100% goat's milk soap using fresh goat milk from our own Nigerian Dwarf goats that provide the most moisturizing bar of goat milk soap you'll try. We love all the benefits of our goat milk soaps and find that it's great for skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and dry skin.

Fennel seeds are really good in pizza sauce.

@@thehaipath I got a head start and prepped some vegan enchiladas
@Leeannemud2018 nice! We just made some enchilada bake meal prep today filming another video
@@thehaipath Gotta try your dressings and sauces. They look amazing
Super duper recipes! I love that you don't use a high speed blender for your sauces - especially with the cashews! Wow - I didn't think you could use an immersion blender for cashews - really good to know! Thanks!!
Hello Mary! Hope you give them a try! And our hand blender is a cheapo Amazon one too, just make sure you give it some time to blend well!
Thanks for making easy recipes! We're all busy and need more easy recipes - and when I see how much your kids love them, I just know it's going to be yummy!
Hi Maria! Happy to have you here and hope this helps you and your family! We do try to make everything family friendly as much as possible. Which one would you make?
Hi Rosa,
These all looked delicious but I think I liked the sandwich the best! Will definitely give that one a try! I used cannellini beans tonight in our pasta tonight along with broccalini, red peppers, artichoke hearts, olives and mushrooms. Yum! As always I love your videos! Take care!
Hi there Carol!! I am going to have to buy cannellini beans in bulk because we’re going through them too fast! 😄 enjoy Carol!
I'm in my 70s and I'm always looking for something easy to make, especially for lunches. This is excellent and so easy to make! I subscribed to your channel and I'm going to make the sandwich right now! I'm looking forward to learning more easy things to make for me to take to work and for when I come home from work. Too tired to cook but your recipes make it so easy. Thank you for sharing all this. I am plant-based so I won't be using any oils or dairy but I think your recipes will still be excellent. I'm looking forward to following you! Thank you again!
Hi Susan!! Your comment warms my heart we hope you give them all a try, so happy to hear you’re plant based! What’s the reason you don’t use oil? In these recipes you don’t necessarily need to use any oil so it fits your needs!
We will continue to make more easy lazy recipes for you!
Perfect timing, I busted my wrist so the "no chop" had me like a magnet. But.... no electric can opener, I had to recruit some help. Thanks!
Oh no! What happened to your wrist? You know plant based recipes do tend to have a ton of chopping because we have to chop them veggies but some days we just don’t have the time or can’t in your situation. Hope it helped!
My favorite bean is butter beans. And honestly, while I love seeing bean recipes I could literally just open the can of them and eat them (cold even). 😂. But they are so good heated with butter and nutritional yeast on top. 👍. My husband thinks I’m nuts.
You probably are nuts 🤣 but if you're not a little cookoo, you're not unique. Let's embrace being a bit psycho together. Myself and the kids can eat beans out of a can ourselves 😝
I'm going to try all these recipes! They look so delicious!
Hi Marisol! That’s awesome we hope you love each and every one of them and hope this video helped you as you were looking for some ideas for dinner 😊 are you plant based as well?
❤I just watched this video and I’m so happy!!! I’ve been Vegan for over 30 years and loved learning about new, whole food ways to get more protein! I never use Cannellini beans! I use all of the other ones, but haven’t explored Cannellini! You, and your beautiful family have inspired me to get into them! Thank you so much!!!
Hi Tanya! That’s amazing we are so glad to have you here! WOW vegan for 30 years that’s so awesome! Did you convert from a previous diet for health or love of animals?
@@thehaipath Hello! I love watching your videos/shows !!! I think I watched 5 today! I love the happy, family vibration. My kids aren’t close to me, physically. So I admire your closeness with your children. I converted to the Vegan Diet because of my compassion for the animals. I never liked eating it, and as I grew older I realized that I could stop. ❤️ animals!!!
That’s awesome thank you so much for tuning in Tanya! We hope one day you can reunite with your kids! Love your reason for living a vegan lifestyle

Hi there Kalee! Ooh enjoy! Everything was a hit. Do you have kids?
I can't wait to try these recipes - thank you!
Hope you enjoy! Which one would you try first? Are you plant based yourself?
The sandwich spread with cannelini beans looks great. I'm not 100% plant based but leaning that way. Plant based foods are appreciated by my compromised pancreas 🙂🌹
@dellobo2011 that’s awesome we’re looking forward to hearing about your journey. For your pancreas we recommend looking into food combinations to aid in your digestion. So as a basis, you would not mix carb with proteins such as beans. You should eat carbs with veg only and veg with proteins only. You don’t mix carb with protein.
A book we recommend that has a food chart would be Healing with Whole Foods by Paul Pitchford. Check it out! We are going to work on doing a video on this.
@@thehaipath what a great tip. So no rice and beans. But rice and salad maybe. And beans and steamed veggies. I'm gonna try this. I really appreciate you.
@dellobo2011 yes exactly just remember vegetables are the middle man. Veggies go with protein or carbs but never mix carbs with proteins. We’d love to hear your thoughts and do a little bit of research yourself!
Love these! Thanks 😊
Glad you like them! Are you and your family plant based?
Thanks cashews exp I got tons of beans gonna try yum
Instead of cashews you can use sunflower seeds or hemp seeds too! Which one would you try first?
@@thehaipath i love how u put hemp seeds in stuff going to start doing that too

Hi there!! We are excited to have you here and glad you’re enjoying the little chefs ♥️ are you plant based too?
Yes! I’m getting lots of great ideas from your channel!
Thanks 🙏
I am a vegetarian trying to go vegan but having a hard time giving up cheese 🧀 and am trying to learn how to make plant 🌱 based cheeses. Most recipes look difficult or complicated but the way u made it with beans, nutritional yeast and a few cashews is the simplest recipe I’ve seen so far 😊
Hello there! That’s awesome I’m glad you’re going to try going fully plant based! Yes cheese is definitely a bit difficult and even eggs are hard for me. However I’ve learned to adapt and the cashews are so versatile!
We recently made a cheese cake with cashews we hope to share with you!! How long have you been vegetarian?
@@thehaipath I decided to go vegetarian all on my own at 14yrs old , was very difficult in a house my father cooked meat in every night, i just ate the vegetable side dishes and I only lasted 2yrs that way before giving up and going back to meat but I am almost 47 now and went back to my veggie ways in 2020 and just started learning about the vegan ways last year- it’s a bit overwhelming sometimes so I’m just learning at my own pace and I keep experimenting. There’s just so many ingredients I see in vegan recipes I’ve never heard of and know nothing about. It’s like learning how to cook all over again lol
@@myleahmarion6348 I understand how difficult it must be, even nowadays going vegan is a bit hard considering there's a ton of meat options and very little plant based.
So happy you stuck to it and are learning the ropes.
We keep things simple here and hope you can get some ideas on what to make on your next venture!
@@thehaipath I will definitely be watching.
I usually watch Kathy’s Vegan Kitchen (I just found you) so I’ll be watching both of you from now on because I really do want to learn the ropes lol .. Thanks 🙏
@The Hai Path your video came up as a recomendation. And I loved every single one of the recipes you. As a vegan I look for more simple recipes that I haven't tried and all of yours are new. Thanks for sharing

I love the idea of using cannellini instead of cashews in a mayo-type dressing.
I’ll defo be trying that later.
I only discovered you today, so
thanks so much!
Take care.

Hello there! We would love to visit the UK someday 😍 yes try it out! We also use hemp seeds as a mayo type dressing too for extra protein, blend it up with a bit of lemon or lime juice and water, season it well. It’s great 👍🏽 looking forward to seeing you on our future videos
❤❤ thank you, I love these recipes. Blessings
Thank you Anne! Blessings to you too thank you for joining us in the kitchen! Are you plant based too?

Made the cheese broccoli with pasta.- I was very impressed, it was very good and quick to make.. Thank you
Awesome!! Yes, it’s so easy and so tasty and you can dress it up however you like. What type of pasta did you use? So glad you gave it a try!
Used linguini pasta, I am having the leftovers for lunch today at work❤
Yum!! How were the left overs? Did it heat up well?
Totally loving your videos ❤
Woohoo! We are so glad! Are you plant based yourself?
@@thehaipath yes. Over the last two years. Feeling so much better and it’s definitely cheaper in the bigger picture too. Your family are lovely.
All of it looks good! I didn’t see the link for the hemp seed hearts. I did see one for the oil.
I’m so sorry, I just added it for you check now!
Sometimes I use flour tortillas for the base, the thick 'homemade' kind.
Do you make them yourself? That sounds yummy! Thick tortillas 😋

Hi there Annlynn! So happy to have you here, we hope you come back after cooking up a storm in your kitchen and let us know what was your favorite!
Great easy recipes. If you are short on space why get a small can opener instead of an electric one😊
Thank you Celine! Since we already had our electric one and it’s soooo nice and convenient we will have to keep using this one for now!
The pizza that is Grandma pie style looks especially appealing! I like the style of your video with the kids and husband milling around because it is very authentic. Also liked the World's Best Father shirt haha
Thank you so much! 😊 yes we try to keep it real because you’re right, our home is our home and there’s always moving parts and cannot keep videos perfect!

Thank you for sharing your families recipes
You’re so welcome, are you plant based too? Hope you try some and let us know what you think!
I just found your channel and love these easy and quick recipes! I'm going to try the pizza first. I'm not totally WFPB, but trying to eat more plants. Could you tell the differences in how the pizzas turned out with the bean sauce on the bottom vs the tomato sauce on the bottom?
Hi Sally and welcome! Glad you’re going to try the pizza! It was so good, as a reminder that someone pointed out, the naan bread is not vegan. They used to be but no longer are.
We didn’t find a significant difference, it was a bit easier to spread the bean cheese on the bread first though then drizzle the tomato sauce. Try them out and let us know which you prefer!
Love this. I lived in Pahrump for 4 years 2008 to 12. It's great to see great stuff coming from there. Amazing that you are Gardening there in that alkali desert spot.😊
That’s amazing hi fellow former Pahrumpian 😆 oh man gardening is still very difficult but we are doing our best. We are excited about this years grow since we have more purpose with growing our food!

Hello Virginia!! Haha the kids are pretty bomb 💣 😆 lovely to have you here with us. Are you and the family plant based?
@@thehaipathunfortunately, it's just me. My family here at home are just my husband and I, but I'm the only plant-based (and vegan) one in my whole family. Have you shared how your whole family came to be plant-based? Mercy said she thinks the mungbeans eggs tastes just like eggs. She's had them, then?
We have not shared this yet we have to make a video talking about why we decided to be plant based. It’s generally for health reasons which we will touch on when we make it.
Yes the kids have eaten meat and eggs and dairy. We have been plant based for about a year and a half!

Hi Tim! Excited for you to give them a shot! Are you plant based yourself?
Also, have you mentioned in any previous video, how long your family has been vegan? Im curious about how the transition went and how you managed to
Yes! Trey’s been plant based for about 5 years and the kids and I almost 2 years. We are getting ready to make a video on this including Trey’s health journey and why we eat this way! Stay tuned.
@@thehaipath Thats great! My husband isn’t vegan and any recipe that your kids like give me hopes for my husband 😂
We will keep pumping out recipes, maybe he’ll fall in love with one of them! 😝
Just came across your channel. Enjoyed the easy recipes and watching your kiddos help in the kitchen.
@plum2230 thank you so much! We enjoy teaching them and having them in the kitchen with us. Hope they grow to become great cooks ☺️
How long does the cheesy sauce ladt in fridge & would it freeze well ifade in a bigger batch?
Hi there yes you can freeze it! I’d suggest using it in like 3 months because you don’t want it to be freezer burnt. We have never froze ours yet so we don’t know for a fact. It can last in the fridge up to a week but it can change the consistency and get a little thick. Just be sure to stir, add a bit of water if needed!
3:10 using the can... 🤯
Right!! Why dirty another dish when you can just mix it on up in there! 😆 every dish adds up in this home.
Do you get a lot of gas from the beans.
We’ve found if you soak it overnight you get rid of a lot of the gasses so we actually don’t toot a ton but there’s definitely normal amounts of toots around here 😆🤣
??? What do you recommend I eat while camping ⛺️ & on the road???
Hi Becky! Thank you so much for blessings, we appreciate your kind words! Are you plant based yourself?
You can definitely make the pizza recipe from this video if you’re camping! Maybe use a masher instead of having to blend the beans with a hand mixer
Last I looked, those stone fire breads are not vegan. I believe the used to be. But not anymore
Oh heckin crap, whelp it’s not the first time we ate eggs 😅 thank you for that info!!
Stop repeating yourself.
Thank you for the suggestion! I don’t mean to and do my best and am here to share what I can to help others. I don’t feel like I’m repeating too much, if it hurts your ears to hear me say the same words you can explore other channels! 👍🏽
Stop being so rude. She didn't repeat herself. Never understand why people like you feel the need to be such an arse. Must come naturally.
Wayyyyy to much talking!
Thank you for the feedback Mary! There are other channels with no talking videos if that’s what you’re looking for. We are here to show you how we make our food. Thank you for tuning in 👍🏽
Super duper recipes! I love that you don't use a high speed blender for your sauces - especially with the cashews! Wow - I didn't think you could use an immersion blender for cashews - really good to know! Thanks!!
Thank you so much! Yup! It’s best if you soak the cashews to soften if needed because you can get some chunks sometimes but for the most part it’s fine! Our hand blender is a cheapo Amazon hand blender so if that can handle cashews I’m sure a better quality one can!
