- In this video I will be showing you how to access the web browser that is in the secret menu embedded within your infotainment system. Although a lot of heavy sites like CZcams is not supported, it can be a neat party trick that you can show your friends or even play around with when you’re re bored. The browser will disappear when you turn your car back on, so you would have to access it on the secret menu every time. Also you will need to be connected to your phones hotspot in order to access the web.

Hi, I have Honda Civic 10th gen. Turn by turn option is not coming even as an option to turn on when I go to settings. Is it possible it is disabled from root settings? How to turn that on?

It does not go away for 2016 models but yes you can’t open the CZcams. You may use other websites to stream video’s
Do you know by chance why when I connect my phone with a USB cable with the CarPlay to my Honda Accord 2017 gets disconnected? It only works for a few minutes and won't connect at all.

Thanks for showing. It is disappointing that you got to keep doing it but it allows for adding and doing different things. Apparently it doesn't work with my home wifi or it's just that slow.

I’m from Australia and I got a 2018 rs and I heard that if you go into the hidden menu and fuck something up it’s not under warranty and costs more to fix 😂 I didn’t wanna take the chance

For those wondering it's not really worth doing. I panicked when the browser wouldn't go away after I turned the car off. But to default everything what I did was
Turn off the car
Open the door
Close the door
Unlock and lock the door
Plug your phone into the car
Turn the car on
And the browser should go away
Not sure if this is what did it, but this is what I did and the browser went away

Does anyone have advice for andriod auto not connecting (device not detected) I've tried all the standard stuff. Buy original cable, restart the infotainment system...
I had the same issue. I was about to buy a Carlink device. However, I got it fixed today, as in fully working.
Something I noticed was that the cable connected to the phone's USB port was somewhat loose or appeared broken. Basically, by moving the end bit, the car would connect the phone then swiftly disconnect it.
My solution was simply to clean my phone's USB port using a toothpick. It's thin enough to go right in and clean all dirt stuck inside. I made sure the circuitry was not touched. I used an old toothbrush to clear out the dirt.
That made a massive difference as I can now clearly hear a clicking noise when the changing cable is connected. The USB connector is no longer loose. Connected the phone to the car, Android Auto appeared as normal and no more disconnection issues.
Try it as you have nothing to lose, including cost.
Had the same issue....my fix was to forget the phone link to the car and then re-link it. The new issue is my computer lagging @ start up

Yes because you're accessing the internet on the infotainment, and not your phone. You're only using your phone as a Hotspot for wifi 😀

Yes. It works with any car that has apple car play or android auto.

i did this, and now everytime i press audio, it goes to this and i can’t get my music back.
I have a 2019 Honda Civic Sport just hold the home button and phone button and the volume button and it is going to say “do you want to reboot” let go of the volume button and the phone button but keep pressing down on the home button click yes and wait for it to reboot and it would fix it it happened to mine to @Jessicasilver hope it helps
