Zlatan played with adriano at inter. Deep down there is no comparison in talent, haaland couldnt lace adriano’s flip flops let alone football boots. Football these days, the top players are worse than they were but the average players are much better than they were. The gap is closing. Ie alvaro recoba would absolutely be considered world class today, but he was holding the bench for roberto baggio no shame in there.
If Haaland is worse then a striker used to be, but the average player's are better (opponent's defender's also) how did he break pl goal scoring record and be youngest and first to 30 goals in CL in less games then anyone in history? Yeah, i think alot of strikers has been better then Haaland now, but i think we had alot more physicality in fotball back in the days, team's defenfed alot better. I think the physcal People gave up on fotball because all the technical player's were dribbling and nutmegging them and they saw it as their end. Luckily Haaland shined thru and showed that big clumsy player's have a chance. There are alot more small technical player's now wich can give you a illusion that the average one is better, but that is not true. Its all about the following. Ofcourse you are going to have alot more dribblers when the new player's now have grown up watching Messi, just like he grew up watching maradona. But there is a change happening again in favour of physicality, and you can see how guardiola is ahead of that and changed both wingbacks with physical cb's. Its just the way fotball goes.
What a pointless answer. Haaland is a different kind of striker than Adriano. Hes big strong and fast with an instinct for scoring goals. Maybe you compare Haaland to an similar player. At the end of the day Haaland will be much more sucessful in scoring goals and winning titles than "Adriano".

Haaland rarely shoot from outside the box and no free kick ability. Ronaldo was more of a complete player. Ronaldo in between Haaland and Mbappe. Ronaldo played as a midfield winger in Man United and did a lot of assist.
Ronaldo scored far more epic goals from many different places
Mbappe is much more talented and entertaining to watch. Nobody turns on the TV to watch Haaland playing.

Depending on a few factors between games.. Haaland has a tendency to completely disappear in games. The right defense and right CB and right MF service etc has to all be in alignment for Haaland to look "world class". A true world class player changes the entire game by being on the pitch. Many games that Haaland played.. If somebody hadn't pointed out hey he's playing you'd never know he was there.

Haaland is a tap in merchant for City. It's frustrating because Dortmund showed he could and should be more than that. He shouldn't win the Ballon D'Or until he becomes a complete player - he has all the tools but right now he's a very incomplete footballer.

The only players i can really imagine getting it are Haaland, De Bruyne and Bellingham.

Haaland may not have just as much talent as mbappe but will go on to have a better career simply because he is more driven and dedicated. Mbappes lack of drive and self entitlement will kill his chances of being the best player in the world for the next decade or so. Mbappe is the classic case of too much too soon. If real madrid do not come in for him i dont know where he will go because i think a lot of coaches despite his talent see him as coming with too much baggage. His body language at st james park told you all you need to know about his mentality
