    Zlatan leaving United had a bigger impact than anyone realised. He was a leader and someone the whole dressing room looked up to and raised their levels for. Once he left it fell apart for Mour and eventually got sacked. You can tell his influence even now playing and scoring twice for Milan in the derby. United would've been closer to the top and competing for trophies had he stayed, shame he got injured and everyone thought he was over the hill and they sold him on, but they were wrong

      The fact that injury didn't end his career, and that he's still playing and scoring frequently in a top 5 league, is testament to how good he is both physically and in terms of his football ability. The man is a different breed.

    • @joohnzyjoohnzy5984
      @joohnzyjoohnzy5984 Před 3 lety +7

      no offence but your view on milan as a great team at that time i cant really agree on.. pato young talent mostly injured but yes a few good games and a nice sub to have. Ronaldinho a shodow of former glory. still good but no way near great, seedorf same as dinho. pirlo some key qualitys still in accurate attacking abilities but other then that same. zambrotta shouldnt be mentioned. Nesta silva ibra were the only at that time great players in milan. The fact they pulled it together to win the league above newly UCL winners in Inter were to me a little miracle itself. Theres definately something Special to the importance of Ibra. His 2ond season at Milan was even better and more impressive and probably his best Serie a season ever. To bad with that crazie amount of injures in the second half of the season having Juventus snatch them in last games of the title race. Then Milan sold Silva and Ibra and simply died immiedately until he now is back 10 years later :S

    Zlatan has that look in his eye. Whenever he cracks one of these ridiculous interviews, you can tell he's just taking the piss. What others perceive as a arrogant, brazen douchebag, I view as probably the most genuine player of all. While other players are taught to be stale as dishwater when confronted by the media, Zlatan sees an opportunity to entertain the viewers. He's a bundle of fun, but he's also a true professional in every sense of the word. As a Swede, I know that the true Zlatan is nothing like the character he puts on whenever he's in front of foreign media. His interviews in Swedish allow his mind to shine through just that much more. He's an intelligent, introspective person who has worked tremendously hard to attain everything he has. You can bring in all your arguments about him being a serial CL bottler or whatever, but I believe his achievements far outweigh the very few shortcomings he's had in his illustrious career. The fact that he's still performing this well at 39 just proves how incredible an athlete and role model he is for the sport.

    Zlatan was so important for Pogba n the whole squad❌🧢 his leadership on n off the pitch is exactly what we’re lacking now, especially in the dressing room😤😤 nobody even realised the impact that he had till he left the club then we all clocked how important he genuinely was🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️ he’s the one who’d push Pogba constantly to get the best outta him n Pogba had the respect for him to listen to the advice😪😪 but now nobody has the authority of Pogba for him to listen to them, meaning that his performances are below par as he doesn’t have somebody on his back that he respects enough to listen to😔😔

      @@check2000 Yoo I’m sorry that this response is long af but please read it all I’m making some valid points here😅😅 First of all I love Pogba he’s my favourite player n I’m even French myself so there’s no way I have anything personal against him like other section of the fan base n media around the world do🤣🤣🤣🤣 but u can’t tell me he’s not underachieving🙅🏾‍♂️🙅🏾‍♂️ true Ole is playing him out of position he should be playing where Bruno plays but he’s still much better than the level he’s performing at🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️ n the reason why he gets all the stick is the price tag (which isn’t his fault at all I know this dw that’s not what I judge him off) n also the fact that he’s a superstar with a massive presence👍🏾👍🏾 Aldo we all see how he played for Juve n how he still plays for France but at United it’s nowhere near that standard😪😪 also in terms of natural ability he’s the best midfielder in the world the guy can do absolutely everything if he wanted to, but unfortunately he’s not maximising his potential for us😔😔 he also needs two players next to him in the midfield that’ll basically hold his hand in there n do the dirty work for him to really shine, like he has at France with Matuidi n Kantè n like what he had at Juve with Pirlo n Vidal❌🧢 but instead to fit him n Bruno in the same midfield he’s the one who’s been sacrificed n is doing the dirty work for Bruno instead🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

    Zlatan and Rooney going were a huge blow for Man Utd. They were leaders in the dressing room and kept others in check. You could see when they left the whole Pogba drama started because he won the world cup and became the big personality. However, he doesn't have the same desire and hunger to win as those two. Pogba flourishes more when he's a key component rather than the main player with all the pressure. Glad they got Bruno, he's exactly what they've been missing since Rooney and Zlatan left.
