@@gobucs3146Praying to Theotokos (Virgin Mary) is idolatry. By praying to her you exalt her to the same heights as God. God shares his glory with no one. Virgin Mary is to be admired as an example to what a woman of virtue should be not worshiped or prayed to. Our Lord is a jealous God and a consuming fire. Pray about it if you doubt what I am saying.
@@bobbysmith3610asking for intercession is idolatry? Do you even understand what you’re blaspheming against? I don’t “doubt” what you’re saying, I KNOW you’re completely wrong. You don’t even understand what Christ meant by “the only way to God is through Him”.
The single word prayer, in Greek has many defining terms, and definitions. The word prayer, does not have one definition to equal worship to then equal idolatry if used. Ex. Latria, Dulia, Hyperdulia (etc). There is a lower form of prayer to the Saints, a middle prayer to our Theotokos, and the highest form of prayer to God is the only type of prayer that is classified as worship. No other forms of prayer are ever understood in the history of Christianity to be worship, aside from the one to God. Intentions are everything. Every Christian should know their terms, and automatically know the type of prayer they're using.
Jesus died and fulfilled the law so we can have direct access to the Father. So we can be one in spirit with him. If you have direct access why pray for intercession? It defies logic. There is no instance in scripture when the fathers of old prayed to saints. Find me one scripture to support your perspective. It’s like saying Elijah prayed to Moses, or Elisha praying to Elijah.Saints are ‘gods’ and by praying to the you violate the very first commandment. If you have your Fathers phone number and need his help would you call your brother to get in touch with your father? You would call your father directly. It’s logic.
Pray for cervboy everyone, he is clearly captivated by some intense grief and pain to cause him to lash out this way. Lord have mercy.
If you don’t mind me asking, who is cervboy?
@@jsjsjsjssjsjsj5913 He is in the comment section on this video .
I don't think you know what lashing out means
It is said that if one tenth of Orthodox Christians prayed with proper quality and quantity, the world would only have superficial problems.

Nip it in the bud. Amen and Amen. Love and blessings ❤❤
Good
Advice!
I wish my parents knew this
Very good advice, but is prayer to Theotokos not idolatry? Jesus said there is no way to the Father except though him.
How is asking for help idolatry?
