Father I am a 15 years old from USA. I have been struggling with sin and have always dealt with spiritual warfare. My father has also recently been diagnosed with cancer and it has spread. I’ve never found men with so much wisdom until i found orthodoxy. I’ve searched throughout protestantism, converted to Catholicism, and now I found Orthodoxy. It’s so peaceful and calming yet powerful. Unlike many protestant churches, the orthodox does not make the church adapt to the flesh yet that man adapts to the church.
You are a beacon of wisdom and hope in this low realm sir. Thank you for putting these talks out. There is very little else like them and they are so desperately needed.

And it really made my heart calm.. and i also considering to move my faith into orthodoxy but it's really hard to find orthodox church in here. I wanna convert to orthodoxy but gotten discouraged so I haven’t been to liturgy and I’ve been asking God for spiritual help and my priest reached out to me pray for me that I’ll be able to become a catechumen
@@william_02 That is the problem with Orthodoxy. I live in rural America and the closest Orthodox church is an hour away from my house and the service is in Greek.
@@williams.carpenter2362 Yeah that can be the case. Don’t let the language deter you and they might change it if you start going. It’s not a dogma to have it in one certain language. Talk to the priest. The Kingdom of Heaven is the Kingdom of heaven in any language. Plenty of the Elder Ephraim monasteries are completely in Greek but they attract tons of American pilgrims and many American monks.

Jesus helped me with so many things, I used to be a s3x addict and a depressed man without hope, I’m still full of sin but God always is here for all of us. Peace was only found in Jesus. Please pray for me for God’s mercy that I think not that I am a saint for such thought is dangerous

People spend most of their lives trying to build a sense of security. When you have peace in your heart, there is no need for such a thing and hard mental and physical work that is all ultimately in vain. Faith and the peaceful heart that results from it is the only protection and assurance we really need.
