Very well explained! God is the arbiter of good and evil - it’s good to be reminded of this once in a while.
Yes, we are starting to see the attacks on Churches freedom of religion etc.
A church was attacked in Stockholm, Sweden yesterday. They destroyed the Altar and the windows. It was a orthodox Church, and I as a Lutheran is still very sad that it happed. Sweden is falling to Islam.

Sedan har till exempel hela Svenska kyrkan blivit hackade så inga av deras system fungerar. Förmodligen för att komma åt Kristna och deras addresser. Allt sådant sker men ingen förstår att hatet mot Kristna är stort även i Sverige, istället läser man bara det som står i nyheterna. In the 21st century its the liberal society that brings antichrist whereas Russia and china do not tolerate cults so much. @@christochristovlebg4382Agreed, be not deceived. So you do know who's giving this Catechism? Do you know him well enough to establish his interpretation as truth?
Can I ask something? How would this person oppose God if he was created by God? If God gave us the ability to do this, then doesn't it mean this is still God's work? Unless he directly oppose God, saying explicitly this is not God's work, Christians can simply attribute all this to God without ever crediting this person unless he specifically say this is not God's work. Then the antichrist would still be plain to see. It's not good to accuse people who wants to do good work.
The answer to your question can be found in the fact that God have His creation free will. Like a human father would do for his son, He sets rules, boundaries per se, and adhering to or disobeying said rules has its consequences. All the evil that has ever been perpetuated on Earth is not the result of God’s direct hand, but the collective rebellion of mankind against God’s boundaries for His creation. Why doesn’t God just come down and force all evil to stop? Because he would mean taking back his gift of free will to mankind, something His holiness would never do.
As is stated in 1 Thessalonians 4 and in Revelation 13, we have our signs to watch out for when the Antichrist arrives on Earth, and how he will bring tribulation. Then, as it is written, his work will be proven temporary and undone by the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Things can appear to be "good" but they are not Holy. Think social justice warriors who truly want everyone to be equal, accepted and cared for by society. They are doing "good" but in reality, their movement is toxic and will not have Holy results.
@@nothde9865 Good and evil does matter but God has to be a part of their definitions. Good is what is holy and related to God and for the sake of being closer to God, evil is opposition to God. And I believe you have to be able to interpret using those definitions. Is food good or evil? Food is from our Lord for us and we are allowed to eat all thing it is inherently good. However there are fasting times during the year so it isnt always good to eat everything, we have have clear boundries there. It would be good to give food to the needy but it would be evil to suggest food to the one who clearly shouldnt eat and is capable of fasting/denial of this perticular food. We are still to do good deeds and abstain from evil deeds. As was in paradise, there was a choice to be made - to be with God and not eat of the tree or to be against and away from God and eat of the tree. The purpose of existence is theosis, aka getting closer to God. Free will is there because our Creator made us this way and only this way can we show true love and not be like droids who unwillingly choose all the good things in every perfect form of them, then we are forced and dont make a choice to love. All people are to strive to be better so there is a process of deification, getting closer to God, becoming better. And of course the virtues and adherence to the rules and church life are all meaningless if there isnt One to tell you they are good, this is why Jesus Christ IS the reason of living, He IS the One to imitate/follow/listen to and by extension all of the hierarchs who follow Him and are ordained to be our helpers and leaders(the angels are friends also :D).

He will choose to bow down and so the devil will be his god. So he will willingly choose against Christ for the sake of the devils false paradise and delusion of good and evil. It isnt Gods work to have His creation be ruined by His people but to let people be tried and tested the fire they unleashed on themselves for the sake of salvation and God is more than willing to help. But if man chooses not to be helped, not to ask then God will not go against His creature's free will(which he gave it), otherwise it would be a contradiction for Him. God bless you friend!

The hopelessness can be overwhelming. I’ve felt it too, friend. Then I began to understand who God is and WHY He sent Jesus to us. In Christ, there is no true death. Heaven is not a place of death, but of the eternal life Jesus promised. However much time we have on this Earth, we have a chance to show others what we understand about God, so that the Kingdom may not be forgotten. Then, we get to see our Lord and be with him for eternity. In the end, God wins, and therefore we win.
