ever since Tim Cook took over apple all apple cares about is being fancy they don't care about the specs take the new MacBook for example 1.1GHZ & a 480p camera in 2015! all for $1299 lol
Elim Garak Apple has always been 'greedy' with the specs. Iphone 3g has no recording option, and it's camera is capable of it, so yeah. It's just a marketing strategy. The reason for why I like Steve more than Tim, is that Steve loved his company, and his customers, whereas Tim only loves his company. At least that's what I saw from their interviews. And yes, the new macbook is dumb with its 480 camera.
Apple never cared about specs, in fact if you care about specs, you will never use Apple. But if care about a system that works well in practice, you will end up using Apple. This was my experience after using android for 4 years(HTC desire, note 1, note 10.1) and using windows for 14 years. Now I don't even care about non-Apple

Apple did actually go into cancer research with Research Kit (Spring Forward Event 2015) and are expanding to other diseases such as asthma, diabetes, Parkinson and so on. I think that tim actually got an idea from this women and this could change millions of peoples lives. This is amazing.

What don't people get about the fact that: Microsoft and Android are licensed, they will always sell more, you'll never catch up, that's not what Apple cares about, otherwise they would license. At the end of the day, Microsoft is very enterprise and business friendly, Apple is wholey desirable for personal, creative, and productivity use, for grunt work for your job, Microsoft and its ecosystem is needed. You can like both and realize that, although Apple limits itself in some respects, it's not a toy, it really is smooth to use and dependable, you will never experience as many glitches, crashes, and errors on an Apple device as you do on a Microsoft or Android, and if you invest in the Apple eco-system, it operates much more efficiently and intelligently than any convenience Microsoft offers, which is why Apple costs so much more, including the fact that the iLife suite is automatically included as opposed to having to pay for Office separately which will cost a fair amount extra as well.
the mac is fantastic, the iPhone is fantastic and the iPad is fantastic, i am not a fan boy but i did buy a mid 2014 macbook pro i am gonna wait for the 6s and i have a 1st gen iPad as a coffee table tablet. i am gonna upgrade the the iPad to an air 2 and keep the coffee table tablet with the original, the thing is apple has a complete goal it seems with general world dominance where microsoft an others have halted. i think the watch is not gonna stay a gimmick for an extension of the iPhone for now i bet gen 2 or 3 will be something worth going to town about for now i do believe android where has a leg up right now but its a way more developed platform with more phone variants and just more general use. the apple watch will find its footing apple will stay the giant it is and things will move forward, good luck to windows 10, and android. overall its nice to know a tech company is the #1 most valuable company in the world, bout time oil giants start falling behind
