Those big mouth frogs and or other critters are not ashtrays. Those are to hold your kitchen scrubber or S.O.S pads. They were kind of a big deal to have back in the early 70s. Everyone had one.

It's funny how something so small triggers so many people's memories. I grew up in Va Beach Va and I remember them made out of lighthouses and all kinds of sea creatures. Back in the 60s everyone did the nautical theme at the beach. But my mom had the frog.
The doll is Greek and it is called Evzonas or Tsolias and they are members of the Presidential Guard. The uniform was very common during the Greek War of Independence, thus years later became the official uniform of the guard. Because it has a crown on it must be old, definitely before 1967.
Exactly! It was the royal guard uniform, because of the crown on the fez ,so obviously before 1967. It's traditional art, apparently hand made. I was suprised by the light hair colour though, they were usualy dark haired.
I think she found one similar about 1 year ago too (3 months before this) and hadn’t recognized it was presidential guard. I think she was thinking pirate or chef. But I recognized it too!

My aunt had been a Kindergarten teacher for over 45 years. When she passed, we found dozens of boxes of high end perfumes, stationery and silk scarves, all from thankful students. There weren't gift cards ( we didn't find gift certificates) nor Starbucks then.

Anything marked Disney Parks (in the copyrighted Disney "font") is officially Disney, and is sold inside the Disney Parks; sometimes ONLY in the parks. Disney creates markets for material that you can only get if you actually walk into the parks to buy in the park stores and kiosks. Usually worth picking up, and the princesses are pretty golden. :)
The frog is used to hold an SOS pad or a curly tulle pot scrubber and it's meant to sit beside your kitchen taps.
My mother-in-law has one of those frogs and I always feel like it is going to gag on the scouring pad😝😢
We have obe in our flea market booth right now. They are so cute.

The fresh egg bowl is for when you have your own chickens. You don't have to refrigerate them like you do with eggs from the store. Store eggs are washed so their protective coating is removed, hence they must be refrigerated. Fresh eggs from your hens can just be placed on the countertop unwashed. You only wash just before using.
For whatever reason I didn’t want to put the fresh eggs in the fridge so I placed them in this glass chicken basket I have with it’s lid. Not knowing that it’s ok. I guess it was some instinct, So thanks for that info. :)

That frog I have…it is my salt pig. Some people use it to hold their scourers by the sink. Oh are a very kind person, bravo.
Your picks take me back - I had a nursery lamp for my 46 year old son when he was a baby that was very similar to the one you picked up. And I bought a piggy bank for my daughter almost exactly like the one Dagny found. Thanks for the video!

That Humpty Dumpty nursery lamp is circa 1962; my sisters and I had that very same lamp in our bedroom when we were kids. The original shade had characters from The Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme frolicking on the outside. The lamp you found is in great shape!
Looked like It was missing a round foot on the bottom but it did look great otherwise.

Great finds! You were so lucky! Lately, whenever I go and the employees are restocking, certain resellers swarm them right when they come out the door. Blocking them and grabbing anything of value off the carts. I hope this Goodwill soon makes a policy about it. I feel so bad for the employees. I always admire your way of shopping. Love your videos!!!
Our goodwill stocks only once now. Right after the store closes. If people complain the next afternoon about shelves being bare, they are told "for the safety of the staff they cannot restock during business hours."

The wooden lady with the broken head is a napkin holder. Triangular folded paper napkins fit in the slots to form her skirt.

That humpty Dumpty lamp matches my coatrack that I have from when I was a baby. I was born in 1967 so you know how old the lamp is!

The dark green frog were used, during the late 1960's and early 1970's, to hold the metal soaped scrubbing pads in so that they could not rust on your kitchen sink. Mine soap pad frog was brown with green worts.
The green frog was from about the 1980s and held your plastic pot scrubber by the sink in its mouth. I think! Lol
I think the big mouth green frog sat by the1960's kitchen sink and had a scouring pad or sos pad in his mouth...
And since this may be my first comment I should say hello. I've been following you around six months. Thank you for all the good info and entertainment. I've been buying "stuff" (forever) that I think will "resale for a profit" but I need to get busy and learn to sale or my family is going to label me a hoarder. Lol. I'm learning something new everyday!
I always check over the clear for Pampered Chef measuring bowls. I find the small ones a lot. I have several people that just beg me for them. They pay decent for them to. I don't usually list them but a lot of people do.

Most of the people at my Goodwill will tell you to take all you want from the carts because it saves them from having to put them on the shelves. But on occasion I have been yelled at because I "might get hurt" reaching into the cart. I just look at them and smile, then turn around and roll my eyes.

The wide mouth frog is a brillo pad scrub holder for the sink. I have my mother's and use it daily. It is fun to sit on the sink in the kitchen and reminds me of her every day.

Saw a Peach lustre today with Irises on it. My hub liked irises! We had blue and purple irises on our driveways ( like a separation?) when I was in elementary school. ( rental)
