I wanted to add this comment to help people who have new battery alarm issue without key faub. Mine was a Honda crv 2009, I only had the vallet key so I tried all kinds of stuff. Until Honda dealer told me just insert the key in the driver door and turn until alarm stops. Worked like a charm after months of searching for a module, reset button, etc.... good luck

After trying all kinds of crazy things I just hooked up my battery, car alarm starts going off, took my plain key without the on/off controls on it just a plain key put it into the drivers door lock turned it and alarm shut off car set to drive!!! That simple

Thank you so much to all the commentators that suggested to insert the key on the driver side door and turn it. I was at my wits end trying to shut off my alarm. I only have the valet key. Thank you very very very much.

i don't know if all toyota came with taht bottom but my 2007 fj crusier came with that and work just perfectly guys just if your toyota has it and it dont work just remove the panel that the bottom is and you going to see a switch if is on it should work and if is of remember take out the key and put it on and then put the key in on position and just press the bottom until the alarm goes off in my case i press the bottom and in 2 second the alarm turn off i was stressful all day even i dont go to work because of that and here i found it 12:00 pm

In my case it wasn't a new batter apparently if you put any extra conection like light bar the alarm turns on or same if you take out the light is just any cable that have to work directly on the battery you are going to have the same issue this is in the case of a ({[TOYOTA FJ CRUSIER]}) specifically a 2007 idk for any other toyota

I have an Infinity 2013 JX35 and was having the same type of problem. When trying to jump start, the emergency horn kept activating. When I put the key in the driver door lock and closed the door and turned the key the horn stopped blowing. Hope someone finds this type helpful!

Can be the starter maybe if you hear no clicking sound when starting the car. But if it's the alarm i suggest unplugging it. Or can be a fuse
